Starting weight: 156 Week 1 Weight: 157.8 Week 2 Weight: 156.2 Goal weight: 145 Comments: I’ve been traveling all weekend so I’m actually relieved to see that there was no major weight gain, and the period bloat is going down. Now that I’m done traveling, I’m excited to have time to stick to my meal plan.

Start Weight: 156 Goal weight: 145 Today’s Weight: 157.8 Positive thought: Despite a rocky first week of the semester, I was proud that I logged all except one day (when I began to log but then got distracted). Comment: It was frustrating to log and be up almost two pounds, but I also started my period, so I’m pretty sure…

I honestly don’t remember what my start weight was. I think I hit around 180 in 2016 when I decided I needed to make a change. Challenge Start Weight: 156 Challenge Goal: 145 Plan: I’m doing Zumba two days a week, and full-body dumbbell workouts 3 days a week. Other than that, I’m just logging daily and trying to hit my…

Hey ladies! I’m 31. I lost about 40 lbs a couple of years ago. I’m a grad student, finishing up my dissertation... which has caused me to be a bit more sedentary than I’d like recently. While I’ve maintained most of the basic habits I developed I’ve gained back 15 lbs that I’d like to get rid of this year. Last time, I had…

Feel free to add me! I’ve been on here for a few years. I maintained the past year, but I’m looking to lose another 15 this year.

Grad student, working towards my PhD. It’s tough. I decided to really commit to fitness and eating better last year but since I’ve started my dissertation, I’ve really been struggling with motivation.

Currently in the second month of my third round of Insanity!
-
The first time I did Insanity, I would either hit pause or do it in half speed too. I’ve done Insanity a number of times now and no longer pause. Over time, your body will adjust and you will be able to keep up, no problems.

Starting Weight: 143 Weigh-in 1: 142 Weigh-in 2: 142.4 Weigh-in 3: 141.6 Weigh-in 4:Weigh-in 5: 141 Loss this Week: -.6 Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? Did you stick to your goals? I'm a daily weigher, but I only count Fridays as my "official" weigh-in. That being said, technically I did lose .6 lbs last…

Starting Weight: 143 Weigh-in 1: 142 Weigh-in 2: 142.4 Weigh-in 3: 141.6 I was tighter with my logging than I was last week but not as good as I could be... that being said I’m traveling for a wedding this weekend so I honestly probably won’t work too hard to tighten up my logging this week...

Starting Weight: 143 Weigh-in #1: 142 Weigh-in #2: 142.4 I didn't quite manage to move the scale in the right direction this week.

Starting Weight: 143 Weigh-In #1: 142 Total Loss: 1 lb Goal Weight: 135 I managed to maintain a consistent workout routine and eating schedule which is my primary focus with the beginning of each new semester. Fortunately, I'm a creature of habit so I eat the same foods pretty consistently. Maintaining my exercise habits…

[/quote] NICE! and quite interesting. I was on the admin side. Director of Finance...financial aid, expenses, operations stuff. I started my DBA but didn't finish. If I can get back into higher ed I think I'd like to get a PhD in Higher Education Administration/Leadership/Policy...or something related. I'm patiently…

Jessica, I'm four years into a PhD program in Theatre and Performance Studies. I've taught classes in performance theory, dramatic lit, theatre history, and acting. I'm currently teaching a course on Modern Drama which I love. What aspect of education were you involved in?

I bought boots for the Fall and for the first time ever, didn't need to get ones with wide calves! Also I went to grab a belt I hadn't used all summer and there was no possibility of it being useful anymore!
-
Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be part of this group for the Fall! Hopefully it will help hold me accountable for working towards my goals! I was part of the summer group, but my participation slipped courtesy of a variety of factors. However, I anticipate being much more consistently involved this time around! Name:…

I've used 30 days, and it's ok but I like Sworkit much better!
-
I loved Insanity! I've done it a few times now and it's well worth the time!
-
I love Insanity! Just finishing up a round right now.

I did both Ripped in 30 and 6 Week 6 Pack. I lost more inches with Ripped in 30 and felt it was better with full body toning. 6 Week 6 Pack will stil engage the whole body but I didn't feel it did so to anywhere near the same extent.
-
I did Ripped in 30 twice back to back in January and February and loved it!
-
Keep up the great work!
-
Absolutely a difference in your face! Well done!
-
Mine is same as it is here!

I definitely struggle with motivation during that time, but I tend to just force myself to push through it. I accept that I'm probably going to have a bit more chocolate than I should but I still stay in a deficit and continue to see weight loss results at the end.
-
I didn't do the shred but I did Jillian Michaels' Ripped in 30 twice. Honestly I think my weight loss during that time was a result of eating better but I lost 13" between the two rounds.
