I love mfp but wish it was less time consuming to add recipes. I dont always know the weight and have to convert cups to grams to figure out what I just made lol. Would also be cool if mfp could calculate how many servings in a dish based on cup/ounces rather than me trying to guess.

My nut said 50-85g carbs per day during weight loss phase and never more than 12g sugar per meal/snack.

Today I bought a pair of jeans that are a size 16 because my first "goal size" pants I bought pre-surgery (size 20) fell off when I was climbing the stairs with my arms full of laundry. Kids got a laugh as mom tried to stumble up the steps half nekkid lol hard to believe I was a 28 just 3 months ago.

At my heaviest in 1999 I was 350+. Not sure because that's as high as my scale would go. Presurgery: 275 Current: 225 3 months post op. Loving life!

I was put on my first diet at age 7 and have been on that rollercoaster nearly 40 years. Ive lost, gained and lost again so many times. I had bariatric surgery in October of this year. There is nothing easy about it, nor is it a quick fix. You still have to diet and exercise for the rest of your life and the potential side effects (dumping, ulcers, hair loss, etc) are scary. I have been on one diet or another for nearly 40 years.
