  • I have heard the same thing, but I do eat fruit in morning, afternoon and evening. There is some research about fasting from basically any calorie for at least 12-14 hours being a weight loss method. I can barely make 12 myself. Fruit does not equal weight loss murder. There are worse things.
  • I had a goal to do a pull up by 40...yeah right. Life happens and it sure did. However, still can't do a pull up, down 20 pounds. I am a fitness instructor and working towards a bodypump cert. I have honestly never felt better and so strong. Us middle-agers got this!
  • Lately it's been one apple, 1/2 cup greek yogurt, half frozen banana (maybe less), handful of oats, tbl chia seeds (optional), 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, dash of nutmeg and cloves. A bit of water to smooth it out. It's like a creamy apple pie.
  • I use it place of peanut butter for something different. I add it with oats and a bit of honey or syrup to bake apples. I have also used it to make bar cookies with fig and apricot preserves. I love the mug cake idea. I have never seen it turn green though.
