I do mostly gym workouts. Weight and cardio and was considering a fit it but are they for running walking workouts like a pedometer. Just wondering if I need to go the hrm route. Thanks loranch(Laurie)

I wouldn't stop cardio but you should keep increasing your calories now until you get to a point where the scale is no longer going down. Your obviously not eating enough for the energy your expending.

I am hypothyroid and treated with medication and have been able to loose weight. However it has not been easy. I have to be very consistent and persistent with my diet and exercise. if your working out it's ok to be over on protein as long as your within your calorie limit and not over in fats. I also don't worry about being over in fibre or vitamins as long as its not too high.

I also have a bigger frame and am 47. So right now my goal is 170 and possibly 165 once I reach the first one. I've weighed less but right now I just want an attainable goal where I won't be discouraged.

Any veggie can be steamed and then pureed and added to any dish especially soup pasta sauce or even chilli. I also blend spinach into my smoothies or protein shakes and it changes the colour but you can't taste it.
