Hi, I'm from Holyhead in North Wales (UK) and am a member of our local Pentecostal church. Happy to team up. Only back a month, although had success with MFP before, just made the mistake of not switching to 'maintenance and staying here  So far lost 7lbs in 4 weeks, with about 21 more to go. My workouts often involve cross-country alone. I tried this on an empty stomach and passed out twice after about 4 miles. I would have something. I recently read protein before exercise and carbs after... anyone hear this?

Thanks for the helpful replies. The monitor is quite new, batteries ok. I used to exercise a lot before a bit of a slump, so maybe my system has remembered that, and yes, my heart rate is quite a bit lower. I will carry on walking but mix things up more in the gym and see if that helps meet my exercise calorie target (500…
