On 9/11 I weighed 296 pounds, and I started losing weight on 10/18. Today I weigh 280. Can I make it to 270 by 1/1? Probably not, but I'm going to get as close as I can!

In 4 weeks I have reduced my overall body fat percentage by 2%. I have lost approximately ten pounds. I am eating a sensible calorie deficit, being deliberate about my carbohydrate choices, lifting weights 2-3 times per week and swimming on the off-days. I work with a personal trainer on Saturdays for 1 hour.
