@bmeadows380 - Don't be so hard on yourself!! We all have days like this, even multiples in a row. What's important is that you recognize that you're over, and you know you can do better. Think back to before you started using MFP and joining this community. Would you have stopped yourself from getting the donut at Exxon?…

Oh, and my mini goal is to be down to 333 by the end of June (that's 12-ish pounds, but for some reason that's the number that's in my head right now so I WANT TO GET THERE.) I volunteer for a week-ish at a camp that starts on June 30th, and there's a GIANT hill that leads from the rec fields to the dining hall, and I'd…

Good luck! I was stuck on a plateau for about 2 weeks in early May. I don't know what I changed to make it suddenly click back into gear, except REALLY upping my water intake, and pushing a bit harder in my workouts... But still, it doesn't seem like that should have been enough to switch into this renewed downhill slope.…

I wanted to be 350 by the end of June. Hit that on May 24th. So now I'd like to be 325 by the end of August (that's 75 pounds in 8 months)

October 2016, singing at my sister's wedding vs. this past Saturday at an event for my work. The suits are exactly the same size, just different colors. Can't believe that change!

I walk to work a few days a week, and usually take a route home that avoids a giant hill, but I tackled the hill today and made it without being terribly out of breath... I never would have dreamed of attempting that hill a few months ago! And even with the hill, I averaged 3.5mph on my walk!

I get it. There are always reasons to overdo it. Even in my own kitchen, there are temptations in the freezer or the refrigerator or the cupboards. When it's a holiday or a social gathering at work, or even when going out to eat, it's all about choices. Do I want to enjoy myself? Yes. Does my enjoyment solely hinge on that…

Last weekend, I went back to my parents' house and went through a bin of clothes in my old bedroom that were from my first few years of college, including some jeans, shorts, and a bunch of t-shirts. I'm happy to say that the pants fit again, but the t-shirts are a little tight, so my next non-scale goal is getting those…

Hi all - My name is Phil, and I've loved reading through many of these intro posts. I have always struggled with my weight. I distinctly remember being over 200 pounds before starting middle school, and having to start wearing 2XL shirts before I hit high school. I ballooned to over 400 pounds by this past January, when my…
