I have tried numerous times to become a morning workout person. The longest I stuck with it was about 2 months. I LOVED the free time that I had in the evenings, but the mornings were the worst and because I would hit snooze and not get up right when I needed to, I ended up working out less efficiently and for less time!!…

Get an inexpensive food scale and measure your servings. Put the bowl on the scale, tare it to "0" and then add your items to get the reading.

I would agree that you may want to try vegan protein powder. I am not vegan, but I use only vegetable protein powder and I also take a probiotic daily. Some days I take 2. I have noticed a difference in the bloat.

I appreciate the info and will look into all of these suggestions. I'm tired of wasting my time and I'm trying to do this the most efficient way possible...plus I have a trip to Florida coming up in April! :wink:

Try the salads from subway. I usually get a rotisserie chicken salad, double meat, no cheese, lots of veggies. Sometimes it's large enough for 2 meals!

Doing my workout now and presently using these weights on the home gym: Lat pull down 64 pounds Butterfly press 40 pounds Arm press 100 pounds Seated leg curls 132 pounds

Definitely try probiotics. My gastroenterologist suggested Align (I purchase the CVS version).

I don't use dumbbells for lats, I use our machine and lift pretty heavy on there, although I don't know the exact weight. I use the 15lb dumbbells for chest press, curls, shoulder press and things like that.

What do you do for lifting? How much weight do you use and how long have you been lifting?

4-5 days of just lifting or all together, cardio and weights? 2-3 days a week isn't enough?! :blush:
