It is activated. It shows how many steps I've taken but doesn't give me any extra calories for it.

I changed my activity level to lightly active at losing 1 pound a week. It now gives me a calories allowance of 1550. Should I still continue to eat back some of my exercise calories or no?

I can't have any energy drinks etc because of my heart problems..

I have issues with my sodium level going over the recommended level. I just try to drink as much water as I can to help flush my system out.

I'm north of Dayton too

lol I don't have that problem either. I can simply look at a cheeseburger and gain 5 pounds lol :D

Could be he's not eating enough or could be something medically wrong. To be on the safe side I would suggest he go to his doctor for a full work up.

Seriously? Wow!

My weakness isn't sweets. It's prime rib. So considering that it's 800 or more calories just for a piece of it I stay away from all restaurants that sells it haha!

Yep if I know I'm going to be going out to dinner with my husband I plan my day so I can fit my heavy meal into my calorie allowance. I refuse to do spur of the moment out to eat lunch/dinners. It has to be planned. Lol. But even if I did go over a couple hundred calories I don't stress it. As It all still usually averages…

I agree with the others, most is probably water weight. Give it a couple weeks and I'm sure it will all come off. Hope you enjoyed your vacation. Mine can't come soon enough (going in July)..

I agree with this 100%

When I first started my diet I didn't have any sweets in the house for the first couple weeks. For me staying away from sweets for the first couple weeks help with cravings. Now I steadily keep sweets in the house and I allow myself to have 150 to 200 calories worth of sweets when I want as long as it fits in my calorie…

You can have your sweets (in moderation) everyday as long as it fits within your calorie allowance for the day. Weigh all solids with a food scale and measure all liquids, and log everything that enters your mouth lol. There is no bad food, just to much food.

I don't necessarily have a "cheat day" but I do have 1 day a week or 1 day every other week where I will go out to eat and have a heavier meal. BUT i budget all or most of that meal within my calorie allowance for the day. I only allow myself to go over at the most 200 hundred calories, but usually don't. Typically my…

I had 444 calories left after dinner and decided to eat a Hershey bar lol. I bought this bar at the store 2 weeks ago and just now got around to eating it. I had a huge sweet tooth before I started my diet, but it's calmed down a lot since dieting.

I keep my treats max 200 calories. No fast food etc. Prime Rib is my favorite food, but with it being around 800 or more calories it's completely off limits for now. First thing I will do when I hit my goal weight will be to treat myself to a Prime Rib haha!

That's amazing congrats on your weight loss! I have m&m's at home right now. I haven't opened the bag yet but I'm sure I will make my way to them lol
-
I don't prelog either, I just aim to have 200 calories for a snack at night if I want it. But I agree with you on the "to much food" I'm glad that so many people still carry on to have their little indulgences in moderation. What's crazy is I eat more throughout the day now than before I went on my diet. I would eat maybe…

Haha nothing wrong with that! ;)

My husband and I go out to eat at least once every other week sometimes once a week. On that day I aim to not go over my calories no more than like 100 to 200. I make sure to eat a decent breakfast but have something light for lunch so I have like 800 calories left for dinner. I'm a steak and potatoes person so I have to…

There's days usually around 4 day a week that I'm on my feet from 7am to 10pm at night with the only time sitting is for a few minutes here and there. On days I don't work out and am constantly on the go MFP that is connected to my Apple Watch accounts my steps but doesn't give me any extra calories burned so I wouldn't be…

Yeah I could tell I was retaining some water in my hands. Still feel like I'm retaining a little water.

Yeah that's what she was saying 1 day out of the week to eat at maintance or if I don't want to eat that much then just go a couple hundred calories over.

I have 38 pounds left to lose. I did weigh myself this morning and was down almost 2 pounds

So after talking to a trainer yesterday she asked if I ever have cheat days/refeed days. I said I've had 1 cheat day since I started my diet. She told me to have a cheat day OR eat something high in carbs and she guarantees I would see a drop on the scale. So I did that yesterday and went over my calorie allowance by like…

The procedure on my heart doesn't affect weight gain or loss. I do take measurements as well and there has been a slight change since the last time I measured before that.
-
I do accurately log everything. I weigh all solids and measure all liquids. So I know I'm good on that. I have noticed my hands are retaining some water. I also did up my water intake and that's all I drink is water now. I do allow myself 4oz of 100% cran grape juice daily with dinner.

I weigh daily as well and use the happy scale app to track my weight. It's just frustrating lol
-
Well here's the thing. My activity level is set to sedentary and losing 1 pound a week. It gives me a 1390 calorie allowance a day. I log everything and weigh my food as well. I work out 5 days a week for a hour and I only eat back 50% of my calories burned through exercise. I was steadily losing 1.5 to little over 2…
