I drank a 2 liter of pop daily for more than 20 yrs.I didn't stop cold turkey ; I would buy a king can and drink half and dump the rest out.Did that for a week,by the second week I would force myself to drink it even if I didn't want to.That worked for me.I never had cravings or withdrawal.How I didn't end up with diabetes…

You and are are about the same size;my initial weigh in was 258.I'm now 147 and long term goal is 185. 50lbs is certainly possible by nov.

HI Mike. rks581 a few posts above gave good advice about logging your food and following the system.It's working for me so far.One thing I would add is,if you drink a lot of pop(like me),quit drinking it,or at least cut it back substantially. Good luck!
