Slow and steady is the way to go, its more sustainable and helps lead to healthier eating habits longterm. I'd rather count calories than have a diet that restricts the things I like to eat. It does work but accuracy and honest logging are key. Good luck.

6 days of various classes usually and make sure get in an hour of walking on rest day.
-
It's exercise and if doing a variety works for you then go for it. I do 5 different exercise classes (some more than once a week) and one gym session. Its my wind down from work.

Humus is great, love as dip or in sandwiches. Caramelized onion, yum. In UK most PB has palm oil, even what you'd think is healthier brand has ethical palm oil?! My husband's GP said to avoid palm oil for his cholesterol, luckily I don't like PB.

It takes a couple of classes to get into any new exercise as first time is such a learning curve. Hope you enjoy ......

Youve done it before so know you can do it, you have to be in the right mindset as we all know its not an easy ride. Small goals and steps, don't let one bad meal/day derail you and be an excuse to throw in the towel. Logging bad days helps motivate me to do better the next day.

Les Mills certainly has entries, guessing the same. Good workout.

Wear fitted leggings, nothing that could get caught in wheel. Aim to keep pedalling but don't be so worried with keeping up with gear changes or speed, you are in control of the effort. Towel and water as already mentioned. Enjoy, I love it .....

If these things worked there'd be no obesity problem. There's no quick fix, eat at deficit, lose weight, overeat, gain weight.
-
Ok, so reading another post about graham crackers and having no idea what they were, seems very similar to the uk digestive biscuit ....... this coated in plain chocolate = delicious.

Stunning, you need to be comfortable and able to relax in your wedding dress, you wear it all day!! Don't think you should be losing anymore weight though pre-wedding nerves may cause anyway. Don't let her bully you, it's your special day.

2 x 45 minute spins per week for me, used to be 3 but they changed the timetable. Mostly love it, have odd session when wish I was somewhere else! Hate static bike in the gym, need someone shouting at me. Think its helped my outdoor holiday cycling fitness.

If you are still wearing the same clothes it will hide the loss. 40lbs is amazing, people will notice and comment eventually, sometimes they dont say anything for fear of offending. Keep going .....
-
Its down to confidence and feeling happy in your skin. I dress baggy when bigger and gradually buy more fitted clothes as lose weight but that's because I'm very self conscious and want to hide bulges rather than draw attention to. Nearly there.....

I do pump, combat and attack - definitely need to know how many left in attack, pump is set formula so easy to follow and know what torture is left - really like doing Les Mills classes.

Good luck, accuracy is key, weigh everything and be honest even on bad days then its easier to see where you are going and why. It soon becomes part of daily life and doesn't interfere with things as you can plan occasions into your calories and no food is banned, calorie counting the way to go.
-
Have you tried cutting down slowly over time?
-
I use unsweetened almond milk at 13 cals per 100mls but have had in plain water, semi skimmed milk and mixed in with porridge (oats), down to personal preference and calorie goals.
-
Buy 1kg when on offer, just finished PhD diet whey strawberry, now swapped to vanilla for a change. Like the chocolate too ......
-
Well done, you're looking great. I think maintenance is going to be the hard part. I've lost and regained the same 28lbs over and over. Getting close to target again and, like you, aim to be more vigilant and not let any gain get out of hand.
-
Possibly number of tracks, usual 55 min class I do at gym is 10 individual tracks, I've no experience of on demand service but there are shorter formats missing some tracks so this is my guess.
-
I've switched to dark chocolate and definitely eat less of it, gone off milk chocolate and chocolate has always been my downfall.
-
Some people are short and have sedentary jobs which equals a 1200 target on mfp even if looking for slow loss. That said, I boost this by regular exercise to get extra to make it a bit less of a struggle. 1200 can be done but every day would be tough.
-
Have to agree with all of the above and look at your diet choice, you don't need such a restricted diet, not healthy or sustainable. Exercise probably way to go. You look super slim already in your profile picture.
-
Carlos_421, A digestive is a biscuit we have in the UK, chocolate ones have thin layer of chocolate on top. They are called digestives as when first invented were thought to aid digestion.
-
An American import that's not for me, rather have a dark chocolate digestive any day.
-
Being in UK guess this whole topic will just remain a mystery and I'll stick to sorbet and frozen yoghurt.
-
Way to go ..... I've found the exercising so much easier carrying less body weight. Picked up 30lb in body pump the other week and cant believe I was lugging that around every day 8 months ago .....
-
People are often embarrassed to say anything as often seems like they are saying you were overweight and needed to slim. The compliments will come.

21lbs first 3 months, 10lbs in next 4 months but close to goal now so expect slow progress.
