Have decided to do a fast for the final days of August, and then am going to do a back to basics meat month challenge, have been eating ZC but the last week have had a few things that have made me very inflamed and I need to find out what it is, so going to be eliminating a lot more stuff from my diet to see if it helps -…

Omg I have just watched this programme and horrified by what I watched - it is scary watching, people are going to take this information and think it's right

Had another little blip yesterday but back on track again - McD's messed up my sons order and he wouldn't eat what they gave and I should have just binned it but I gave in and ate it - was too far away from the restaurant by the time we realised - am in a little pain today but will make sure I check orders before I leave…

Still going strong, have had a couple of days that haven't gone as planned but rather than falling off completely I have just got back to normal and carried on, so pleased with how I am coping this time around

Not everyone works well with fibre - I no longer eat any fibre being that I am now ZC and when I attempted to add in more veggies, my stomach doesn't like them at all and works better without - I have lost all stomach distress when I eat ZC - everyone is different and it's all about finding what works right for you
-
OK well after an attempt to add some veggie carbs back into my diet I have been met with the stomach distress I had before I went ZC - have decided that they just don't like me anymore but it has given me the confirmation that ZC is the best thing for me, will just have to try some different meats for variety when I need…

I had a blip yesterday, I have decided to add in some veggies and berries back into my diet as felt like I needed some variety - and I ended up eating cookies!!!! Not quite sure why as I haven't wanted anything like that in 6 weeks - going to have to keep an eye on things as I build myself back up with a few more carbs…

I would say it's possible to do SW like that, before I went ZC I followed their plan and used my syns for the full fat options - my reasons for going down to ZC is due to stomach issues that I was struggling to find anything to eat that didn't cause me pain other than meat, but I have always liked SW as a plan - it's…

I attend a slimming world session but I am doing my own thing as currently zero carb - I attend for friendship more than anything but I do think of all the slimming sessions out there Slimming World is the easiest to Low carb it - they have something called SP days which is very like the old red days - obviously the main…

Did my first gym session today and managed to do it without too much trouble definitely feeling I have worked and know I couldn't have managed it 8 weeks ago when I was 30.5lbs heavier
-
Having a great day today - managed to get my first gym session in and food has been great - think I will be aching tomorrow but feeling pretty good at the minute
-
Still fully on track with my goals, and adding in exercise too - taking my journey to the next level - am loving being back on track and feeling great
-
I had a great session today, the lady was very thorough and we have worked out what looks like a good routine and the great thing with this Gym is they give you a follow up every 4 weeks as part of your membership so we can tweak the programme as I get better at everything
-
The lady I am having do my 1-1 tomorrow was the same lady who did my induction today and she seemed fab, totally understood what I wanted out of the sessions and I think will help me design the right programme for me
-
Had my induction today which was great and I am having a 1-1 session with one of the trainers tomorrow to set me up a programme - so will be all set up to get going - thanks for your advice
-
I had a hungry day yesterday and ate over my calories, but stayed ZC, I was also very lazy and didn't do any exercising but managed to drink all my water and I logged everything so still happy with myself
-
Fantastic advice thank you - I am looking forward to learning how to lift properly as cardio bores me silly but I enjoyed weights the last time I tried (which was ages ago) I will definitely follow your suggestions
-
Have managed to do all goals the last 2 days, feeling great going to be adding new goals next week as have joined my local gym so from next week will be adding in 2 training sessions per week to my goals
-
One huge NSV I have noticed is that my knee pain is gone, have had trouble for about 6 months and walking has been uncomfortable but I realised today I am walking fine without pain and can get off the sofa without struggling at all
-
I choose to be a carnivore at the minute so not sure what my body can cope with, I do know the more sweet things I eat or the higher carb I go the more likely I am to have a binge attack so while I am losing weight I will keep as low as possible for as long as possible and try to work on my personal issues with food so…

I had a tough final week as have been visiting my mum, food was good while I was down there but I had more dairy than I would have at home and I didn't drink enough water, have come home with bloating - I am back on track at home now, but think I have inflammation as I am weighing a little heavier today. Getting back on…

Great read

Totally inspiring - love to see journeys like this - you are amazing
-
Having a lot of temptation at my mums have been mostly keeping on ZC but she has lots of fresh fruit and veg available so I am being a little flexible but she is fully supportive of my LC lifestyle and is encouraging me to stay on track
-
Had a difficult day yesterday - was travelling all day so had to pack handy food so wasn't really what I wanted to eat but got me through the day - will be pleased to get back on track today as at my mums who fully supports what I am doing
-
@AlexandraCarlyle yes we have, think I was also talking about chicken skins too. There are times I just need something crunchy and when you are a carnivore these are the best things for that
-
You just roast the skin, and after 15 mins I usually cut it with scissors into bite size pieces, and then roast again for about another 30 mins, it doesn't always work but when it does they are delicious, you can add flavourings with spices too which are lovely as well I have just found a recipe that I am going to try…
