Exactly what I was thinking.... There's just not enough measurements.

Did he mean 5'1"? Edit: Or not.... Maybe dad doesn't know her actual weight? I know my dad never knew (or any guy for that matter.)

Oh! I have the same issue. Narrow heels.

I'm sorry if I'm coming off as contradictory. I've been frustrated trying to nail this down.

Luckily those handy graphs I posted tells us. I averaged just under 10,000 steps a day. What activity level would you consider that to be? Because that puts me on the high range of "Somewhat active" (according to the Internet when I googled activity levels of steps.) But that seems sketchy....

Ah... that must be available on the computer. I have the app and it doesn't list all of that information. I was looking at TDEE calculators and they have something like this: I'm trying to decide what my maintenance is so I can figure out my deficit. I'm sedentary 5 or so days a week and then extremely active a couple days.

I was talking about backpacking. The last time I went backpacking I took 46k steps and then 20k steps the next day. With a winter pack on my back.

Eh... Let's say I'm backpacking and I'm burning 6k calories a day. Two days of that would require an intake of 16000 calories to both compensate for the burn and my BMR. I'm not eating that much. Hell... I don't even have time to eat that much if I'm walking enough to burn 6k. See my problem? So would I really be sedentary?

Omg, 1200. I'm having trouble eating under 2000! :D

I have a lot of "not doctor people" in my family or friends of the family or married into the family. (My parents are pretty granola.) Several have died because they were too stubborn to go to the doctor. Breast cancer, ovarian cancer, kidney cancer, a tumor. Doctors use their knowledge to diagnose. You don't have to take…

I think you should go to a meeting. If you're trying to fill the hole in your heart with alcohol or pain pills, it won't work. Seek sobriety. That's more important than your weight.

I'd like to thank everyone! I'm going to start a C25K program and run every other day. That should get me to the end of the program on time for the race. I'm also glad to hear that it's not unusual for a 5k run goer to pause and walk for a bit.

Love it! Looks like there's some broken insertions. I want to see those picture too!

That would be amazing!

When I was a vegetarian I got my monthly budget down to $86. (Single girl living in Los Angeles.) But I exclusively made my own food. Including yogurt and bread. I bought dried beans and rice. (Though... I also bought larger ticket items from Whole Foods occasionally. Like quinoa.) Not purchasing meat or ready-made foods…

That's just amazing. Looks like it all came off your middle! ❤️

Wow! @yakyak77 Those 25 pounds made a world of a difference! How tall are you?

I want to lose 10 pounds in the month of March. I'm a couple pounds from 265 and if I can get down to that by March 1st, then I would be 255 by March 31st! That means I have to be more diligent with my calories than I have been. I can do this!

Not sure the water will help burn calories.... What about walking? You mention an injury, may I ask if walking is possible? If you can't do that, then maybe swimming? Even those who are partially paralyzed have found benefits with swimming.

Ya'll, this isn't the inquisition. It's possible to reassure her without criticizing. (I'm not speaking to everyone here, forgive me if I painted with a broad brush.) Op, you're fine. I've learned this lesson as well. Weight fluctuates for a variety of reasons. Including TOM, sodium intake, sore muscles, ect.

To hit 100 miles hiked on the Appalachian Trail! My goal after that... all of Virginia's 550.3 miles hiked on the AT by the end of this summer.

LOVE this thread!

I believe there's a color difference. One is darker. (I can't remember which! I think regular coke is darker....) Buy a can of regular and a can of diet. Pour into similar glasses and compare the colors. With one you can see light through the edges of the soda. The other doesn't let light pass through as easily. I also…

You have such a lovely shape!

Contact Nike, explain the situation, and get an exchange. They have good customer service.

Out of curiosity, are you an especially short woman?

Wow! What a difference!

Bump

Um, Barbie? Is that you?? Wow!

I try to eat a date with every meal. (I usually have at least one a day.) This will seriously help you. Promise.
