I started my journey Jan 4th 2017 and as of today I am down 150 pounds. It has definitely slowed down to about 11 pounds a month now. However I have a new set of eating habits that is sustainable and not overbearing. I started as a 39 year old male, 6'9", and 585 pounds. I am now 430 with more to go obviously. No surgery…

Why would going under 135 be unhealthy? If you are a smaller framed 5'5" with low muscle mass you may have more to lose in order to reduce the overhang. My wife is the same height and has a small frame. She was determined 135 was the magic number but now that she has reached that goal she understands she is not finished.

I do not exercise, I sit 90% of the day. I eat what I want including junk food. I do however keep my daily calorie consumption 1200-1500 a day. I started January 4, 2017 at 6'9" and 585lb. Today I am 472lb for a 113lb loss. I have much more to go but so CICO only works well.

This may not be a popular answer but if you are a beginner I would start with a strong lifts 5x5 for the first year. Then transition into isolation and bodybuilding after you have developed a strong foundation.
