Sorry you're having a hiccup. Do you know what set you off? For me it's especially easy to go off track when I'm not paying attention to my triggers, or "chose", maybe I should say, not to pay attention. I'm no stranger to denial. Focus on what you can definitely do in the short term to get back on track and fill in the…

I'm still around :) . Seems some bugs are goin around with MFPers. Why not treat yourself to something like a pedicure or short massage once you're feeling better? Will give you something to look forward to. Had my Vday "no cal worries dinner" Sat. Was a reward for over 30 days of staying on track. It was AH-mah-zing! Also…

I live in Tastykake country. The chocolate cupcakes - SO addictive! My bf always has Tastykakes in his cupboard and I have to do my best to pretend they're not there.

Chobani now has lighter version of Flips (also found at Target). Tried this one. Just OK. I'd much rather budget the cals for the regular Flips.

Skinny Pop has a microwave popcorn now in a box. I believe it doesn't have the same known cancer linked ingredients that bagged popcorn does. Tried the butter flavor tonight - it's a keeper! Found at Target.

I'm floored by how many real ppl there are on here that transformed themselves without a supplement or workout ad backing them! Everybody looks so fabulous, I can't just pick out a few to comment on!

looks way too dangerous to have in my cupboard :p

Exactly. Glad for this reason MFP community exists. I remember a while ago my mom asked how much weight I wanted to lose. I said probably 20 lbs. She said that sounds like too much. I said I was 20 lbs less than that before and nobody noticed! She just looked at me befuddled. The kudos always comes from people I least…

I just think it's bizarre who even notices. I've lost weight a few times before and it only seems to be coworkers or casual acquaintances that throw you a compliment. I know it's harder for people you see everyday to notice it, but still, after a certain point, it's like "hello! something different about me?!" The most…

Congrats! Inspiring to see success stats I can relate to! I'm 5'2", SW 145, CW 141. Not sure I will end up being as low as 118 when I get to a "goal" weight bcuz I do want to incorporate exercise (Strength training).

I do use a food scale and have been consistently tracking what I've been eating. Nothing has changed from first 3 weeks that I started compared to last two weeks when I stalled. It could just be a fluke, but regardless I feel I should evaluate better what I burn vs. what I eat. I can't fathom eating below 1450 on…

That's a fabulous small goal! Weighing my food, especially calorie dense processed snacks, is so enlightening. It's just too easy to overdo it if you're not paying attention. Hope you make it happen!

Glad you are starting to move forward again :) . I prefer easing into a healthier routine as well. The little successes in the beginning give me confidence and then I'm motivated to put in more effort. I've also been staying motivated by reading books on health and fitness since I got back on the bandwagon a month ago. One…

I haven't braved trying to can yet although I should. I started part time work the other year working for a small store run by a local farm/orchard. Can't undervalue saving half off fresh, local produce and not having to go out of my way to get it at that! Encourages me branch out my palate as well. Can't wait for summer.

I am a waster of money on protein bars - you are a savior! Checked it out on Amazon and saw they also have a silicone mold (for those of us who wana be a lil OCD)…

Found it at a small local independent market in Lehigh Valley, PA (Valley Farm Market). Haven't looked yet to see if anyone else has it. Wegman's & Whole Foods would be best bet. There is also a Teriyaki flavor I had tonight - equally good.

Back in the game now for 3 wks after gaining 15lbs this past yr that I had just lost. My work life has finally calmed down so I have the energy to deal with some much needed lifestyle changes. I eat for EVERY reason under the sun, but I find when I get into the rhythm of balanced eating it is much easier. From past ups &…

I'll be in hopefully next wk...Garmin Vivosmart HR Plus coming in the mail - so excited! Wanted the less bulky Fitbit Charge 2, but I scored the former at a better deal. I have two active part time jobs so am curious to track normal activity and calorie burn, not just formal exercise. Also, wanted something with altimeter…

Thanks for heads up on Chike protein coffee mix! When I start strength training again, this will be so up my alley. Love my coffee.

Had this for lunch last wk. Holy crap good. Doesn't look like much out of the package but it's satisfying. Tastes like real food with fat in it unlike, say, Lean Cuisine. 390 cals. Would be good to add some steamed veggies on the side to fill the meal out more.

Tried this tonight - def getting again! Added asparagus, shredded carrots, sliced bellas, minced shallot, baby corn, & water chestnuts. Ate whole package without guilt (385 cals + veggies)
