I'd like to suggest that you stop viewing certain food as 'bad'. I understand that you are referencing the 'bad' as not healthy... but you shouldn't feel like you are doing something wrong if you have a piece of cake. While you were in loss mode and even now in maintenance, it all still comes down to calories in/calories…

You will likely see a lot of shifting with your shape as you lose weight. I do not think you look like a cone nor do I think your hips are narrow.

I have loose skin, but it is nothing like I had imagined. I know strength training has helped to minimize it, but it is still present. Personally the loose skin is a small price to pay to be a healthy weight with good general 'health'. I like the reply above about foucusing on other things too. We are defniitely our own…

Congrats on the 38 lb loss! You are doing great! Look at those collarbones coming in!! :) Slimmer face too. Keep going... you got this!! You'll be so glad you made the changes.

I have to 2nd Cheryl's response. I also lost more than 100 lbs and have kept it off for more than 2 years. If you go back to your old ways of eating and not getting in exercise, that is when you will gain the weight back. The changes you make need to be ones that you can live with forever, not just for a while. Once I…

Lost more than 110 lbs now. I started Jan 11th, 2017 and lost more than 100 lbs by Sept 15, 2017. I have maintained and actually experienced a little more loss since. You can do it!

I agree... leaving it for others to come across. Our weight fluctuates for so many reasons. Glad you were able to figure this one out relatively easily, but sometimes with all of the variables it can be hard to pin point. Just don't let yourself get discouraged. You've done great with your loss!! Congrats for the 43 lbs…

First... CONGRATS on your loss and WAY TO STICK WITH IT!! Keep going!! It is worth it and you'll be so glad you did!!! I think it is something that is just deeply rooted into us internally. After spending so many years obese, there are still times I look in the mirror and think is this girl really me?? I really struggled…

Yeah!! You stayed the course and pushed through!! Great dedication. I hit a plateau for about 25 days when I was in the midst of losing 100 lbs. Sometimes switching up your exercise routine will kick it too... for example maybe try 15 minutes of Cardio, 45 minutes cardio one day. Change your choice of cardio equipment,…

I literally lost friends over my weight loss. Seriously. You'd think they'd be in your corner... supportive and rooting for you to get healthier, but nope!! I agree with those above... PURE JEALOUSY and it is downright ridiculous. I have dealt with this reaction from acquaintances to one who I was best friends with for…

You look awesome!! Congratulations on your loss!! You should be so proud of yourself!!!

Keep at it... you can reach your goal as long as you keep your focus and stay positive. Take progress pictures along the way. :)

You said you are eating less than 1200 calories and exercising more than ever..... You might not be fueling your body enough for all that exercise. You might want to reconsider your calorie intake and get in a minimum of 1200 calories.

Almost 50 lbs down is quiet an accomplishment! You are doing awesome! Keep taking the progress pictures and keep pushing forward! You've Got This!!!

Initially I had some that hadn't seen me in a while be totally shocked. I was frequently told I looked like a complete different person. Now that has come to a halt for the most part. Thank you for the kind words!

One thing that really kicked my weight off was becoming active. I know changing my diet was HUGE, but I went from being a complete couch potato to being in the gym daily. Seriously the first 27 to 28 days... I didn’t miss one day. I just made it a daily habit and now it’s honestly instilled in me. I don’t go to the gym…

When I input my information, It gave me 1200 calories for 2 lb loss a week. Keep in mind I was 260 lbs. Now as I loss, I probably should have re-calculated my information but I never did. I had one plateau that lasted about a month. No, I never was hungry. I discovered if I ate healthy, I could eat a lot!! If I ate junk or…

You have just taken the hardest step! You are moving in the right direction. Now get your mental state in place... Focus. Set Goals. It is a good idea to have a final goal with mini goals to reach along the way. Continue to take progress pictures frequently. They help you see change when the scale may not. I highly…

Bumping this post for those that have read my most recent post. This is the thread I initally made when I first reached my Final Goal of 100 lbs loss. I have came back to it from time to time to post updates in the comments. So if you scroll through you will see updated pictures. Last Sunday marked 2 years since I have…

Y'all can go read more about my initial weight loss here if you are interested. I know reading the success stories when I was in the midst of my loss helped to keep me inspired/motivated. I just hope to do the same for someone else. If you scroll through all the comments, I have gone back to this post along the way to give…

You will have good and bad days... just get your head on straight and aim for more 'good' than the 'bad'. If you have a setback, don't let it keep you down. Get back up and keep pushing forward. It is all about what you do the majority of the time. If you have one bad meal, that won't upset all your hard work. However, if…

Thank you, ma'am! I just wish I had changed my lifestyle years earlier.

You've got this!! 72 lbs gone is a HUGE accomplishment. If you can do that, you can certainly lose that last 40!!
-
Don't let them pull you down... let that just drive you more. Prove them Wrong! Show them you are the one who is in control. We get to decide how we want to live in our own skin. Keep your focus. Set small goals on the way to the final/big goal. You have the power and strength!! <3

Thank you! Always a work in progress. Just like to share and hope to inspire others.

You can truly have what you want, just in moderation. If it fits in your calories for the day, have it. :) I highly recommend buying a digital food scale to make sure you are getting an accurate serving size. No where near chips or popcorn, but I often grab a cup of coffee when I feel the munchies hitting. I have a Keurig…

I have had my gallbladder removed years before losing more than 100 lbs.

Welcome Back! Set your Goal, but set some mini goals to help you along the way. :) I am open to adding some new female friends. I must be upfront and tell you that I keep my friends list updated with only active friends though. I tend to keep my friends list between 25 and 30 so that I can get to know my friends and…
