I have another one that just made me do a happy dance even though it is slightly scale related. I just realized that I am now simply "overweight" and am no longer "obese" for the first time in about 3 years!

I hit 20,000 steps for the first time and dragged myself to the gym for the first time in a week and a half. I was pleasantly surprised that even after that week and a half break I didn't get as out of breath as I expected.

I jogged for 5 minutes without stopping! Tomorrow I'm going to try 6 minutes and so on.

I went to the gym two days in a row and am going for a short walk today. Never in a million years did I think I could stick to a fitness plan but I am!

I had a very stressful day at work. Usually when I have stressful days I turn to candy and chips for comfort. Well, today I craved exercise instead and went to the gym and got in 40 minutes of cardio and would've probably done another 20 minutes if it wasn't for the severe storms/high winds moving in.

I've had a very stressful week at work and have been eating awful over the last 3 days (yay stress eating habit) and have been upset that the scale hasn't been moving. Friday we finally got a day off and I went clothes shopping to use some gift cards from Christmas. I was surprised to see that my tops have gone down a size…

Looking for people to keep me motivated. I've hit a plateau in my progress and am starting to get discouraged. :(

Summer! I want to feel confident in my summer clothes this year. Also, my annual physical in August. I want to lose 30 pounds before going so I'm out of the obese category. Only 19 more pounds to go...

This is Logan! Extremely energetic. He decided to adopt us when he came across our house so not sure what breed he is.

Hello! I started at 210 after gaining 30 pounds from last November to January (death in the family leading to stress eating). I've been trying to lose weight off and on but I really got motivated at the beginning of this year and realized that many of the items on my bucket list require me to be in shape. I've already lost…

That's what I've always heard but this one particular lady just started getting it two years ago and the day after both times she's gotten very sick. Maybe a reaction to it or a coincidence.

For! I'm a teacher so I'm exposed to all kinds of germs each year. My work has a day where they come and give it after school. I was certainly glad I got it this year. My mom and brother caught it over Christmas but because my dad and I had had it we didn't become sick. The shot's not for everyone though. I've had a couple…

I'm also working towards climbing a mountain! I went on my first hike probably since I was a child yesterday and my legs were screaming at me by the end of the 6 miles. I've started and restarted several times. Overall, I want to lose weight and become a healthier person. I've been steadily gaining weight over the years…

I try to make it something to look forward to all day and make it my de-stress time for the day. I live/work in a very small town so the gym is not an option. I usually go for a walk/run after work with my dog. He helps to keep me motivated to go each day because he gets super excited. Maybe you can get a buddy to check…
