At a weight loss goal of about 5st=70lbs, you maybe be on the borderline of having to worry about it or not depending on your height. The skin renews itself over a longer time frame than it takes some of us to lose weight. So if you wind up with some at your goal weight be sure to maintain that weight a year or so before…

don't snack between meals. drink more water. simple meals are easier to log.

Stevia is your friend. Flavored liquid concentrate to make water like kool-aid, plain in coffee or tea, or in unsweetened almond milk. Stevia sweetened dark chocolate.

Between .5 and 1 pound a week , is a good, safe rate to lose weight, gratz. keep up the good work.

mfp keeps track of 4 pages of your most recent foods eaten, so unless your eating different foods everyday all month, it's just a matter of checking a box and changing the amount. most of the time I only have to use the search for 1 or 2 items a day. and if it's a favorite meal its only 1 check box. even then if I'm rushed…

Friendship and Axelrod have a whipped cottage cheese, where the curds are have been smashed down to the size of grain. It makes it much easier to eat as is visually resembles whipped cream cheese. and might be worth trying to see if it works for you.

Not sure how long you've been working on your weight loss. But it sounds like your hitting your first plateau, at least your weight loss has not stopped completely. Keep up the weight training as muscle burns more calories than fat and if you maintain your muscle you won't have to reduce your calories as you lose weight…

Yep, came here from CC. make sure you export your old data before it shuts down. I think mfp recognizes more food bar codes which is a plus. But the free version of mfp does not show as much info on minerals and such, but exercise (calories) are easier to handle, so its worth the switch.

if you've ever gone to one of the "salad" places where you pick the ingredients , they usually put the dressing on the side of the mixing bowl before stirring it all around. Its the same principle. you can also add some salt and pepper to the salad and cut back on the dressing.

for 2 weeks don't snack between meals. (unless you have a blood sugar issue that might require it) at some point in your weight loss journey you will have to cut them out anyway, if that works then continue with just the standard 3 meals a day till you get to your goal. it will make it a lot easier to log everything.

diet is 80%, exercise 20% of losing weight. as long as you don't use the exercising as an excuse to ditch the calorie counting completely then you should start now.

have healthy options available.

make sure your drinking enough water. I was stuck at a plateau for a while, but added a gal of water a day for 10 days and broke through it.

way to go.

Since you lost 100+ before, is it possible you've hit an early plateau? If all else is right, possibly the body is just using water as a place holder until it gets to a point where it really has to let that go. Be patient , keep at it and wait for the loss to occur.

#4 is so true, the nicest and most concerned friends and family members have no idea how annoying that is. It's not like you've gone from obese to anorexic, but they start when you've barely touched the "healthy" range of bmi.

Years ago a vegetarian friend had me over for dinner. I found the morning star chik nuggets were great, and will get them from time to time. If you ever see them the "riblets" are to die for. a better mcRib than mcdonalds.

I love the mint and chocolate ones, reminds me of girl scout thin mints a bit. no issues.

if it's in the healthy range that's great, but you obviously don't sound like you want to be just 1 holiday meal away from being in the overweight zone again. So when you hit your current goal weight see where it's come from, and if it has not affected the curves to much try for a few more pounds of buffer space. It's…

First, if you're on a Ramen budget and looking to add alternate protein sources to your diet, I want to point out that the dollar store by me has individual tilapia and salmon fillets in 4oz sizes in the frozen section. And while these are not gourmet quality they are passable, and conveniently the size is 1 typical…
