Just because I don't post every single change in my diet doesn't mean I haven't made changes to it. I have, since then, added smoothies to help meet my calorie goal daily. I found that drinking calories was easier for me. And emotional days aren't exactly an every day occurence. This is just a particularly rough day and I…

Okay I'm just done reading comments on this thread. 1 - I never said I was okay with this. Hence the reason for the thread in the first place. I was looking for advice, not judgement. 2 - the original post stated that the honey bun was an exaggeration. For crying out loud, not everything is literal. 3 - my sugar has 10…

Okay for example. I ended my day yesterday at 795 calories. Breakfast: chewy chocolate chip granola bar, coffee with 3 tsp of artificial sweetener. = 140 Lunch: one serving canned tuna, drained. 1/8 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt = 185 calories Dinner: lean cuisine, spaghetti with meat sauce = 310 Snack: 3 servings of…

Well it's what I've always heard. It may be incorrect. But, I was under the impression it was true for a long time.

Because I prefer to eat as clean as possible. I'm not 100% into clean eating. But I would like to eat as clean as I can.

I have always been overweight. Since I was a kid.

Because if you have undigested food while sleeping, you metabolis it slower.

For the most part I try to avoid things with ingredient lists this long: enriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, water, palm oil, vegetable shortening (soybean oil and palm oil with added mono- and diglycerides), yeast, contains 2% or less…

Haha it was an exaggeration. It's like a giant breaded thing that's coated in gooey sugar. Totally not subjecting myself to that malarkey.

I'm lactose intolerant. I love cheese, tho. So I occasionally just chose to suffer the consequences. But I have found that greek yogurts don't upset my digestion as much.

My weight rarely shows change for the majority of the month. But during PMS and the first few days of my cycle, I experience a whoosh. The scale can show a loss of 7 to 12 pounds lost. I know a lot of it is water weight. But it still feels good to see that loss. Realistically only 4-9 pounds are actually fat loss.

I set short goals.for example my first goal was Sw: 206 Gw:190 When I accomplished that, I went to SW: 190 GW: 185 And right now I'm at SW: 185 GW: 170 CW: 182 This works for the need of gratification. Do I have a complete end goal? No. When one day I look at myself in the mirror and am comfortable, confident and healthy -…

It's a personal preference really. I personally prefer a lighter lunch and a heavier dinner because it keeps me from late night munching. But if you struggle with afternoon munching, a heavier lunch, lighter dinner may work best for you.

I used to log religiously, then stopped. I thought I had it handled, so why not. But I'm back up in weight and starting to log again. It turned out that I was intaking more calories than I thought. I need to calorie count. I see that now. But it's different for everybody. Some people need it, others dont.

Honestly the most filling thing I eat tends to be hard boiled eggs. They're just so heavy!

That's legal here in Georgia as Ephedrine Plus. But it's very difficult to find and shows up on drug tests. So you have to pray your job doesn't hit you with a random. Not worth it. I've never tried anything but I have heard GREAT results coming from hydroxycut. I haven't done much research on it because I'm not interested…

Well cutting out dairy was easy for me because over the year I've developed a lactose intolerance. I refuse to put out the cash for almond milk and I hate silk and all that other junk. I can't say it's made me lose any extra weight though.

I'm only an inch taller. But I have quite a large frame. My doctor told me I should aim to be between 120 and 135. I can't really judge your frame size by pictures but if I had to guess I would say your ideal would be a max of 135 but I could be very wrong.

I stand corrected. I wasnt considering the fact that he is male. I get stuck in feminine calorie goals and often forget that men have to eat more. Sorry about that y'all

Or, as someone else has said, work it into your day. If you go to the gym or do any working out, go for a little longer, burn a little extra so that the calories don't ruin your whole day. If you burn 500 extra calories, you can afford a double cheese burger. But, fast food is a lot of calories, so you have to work so…

That's actually good advice. Lol I may substitute Kermit for spongebob, but still. Haha

Lol I watched the documentary "supersize me" and that was enough for me. But I was never much of a fan of fast food to begin with. If you enjoy going to those places and the social experience you get from going with family, maybe just make healthier choices. For example, McDonald's offers side salad substitutes for French…

And it is possible that i just need to learn to take everything at face value. Some people don't word things as gently as I do, so I possibly look at it negatively when it wasn't meant that way. This post wasn't intended to cause such a big stink. It was just looking for this kind of response you gave. Whether other people…

Look, y'all. I have no problem with feedback. Someone offering advice. Someone saying I'm not doing something right. Someone telling me a better way to go about it. All of those are okay. But there is a difference between "maybe try doing <this> to gain that nutritient you're trying to get instead of what you're trying."…

No, I'm not referring to that post. But I'm also not going to cite specific examples because that's pointing a finger at someone and causing an issue where that person/those people feel like they must defend themselves. I didn't create this forum to create issues. I created it to resolve an issue by first seeing if I was…

Lol for the record, I mentioned adding the spinach because it has protein and it was lacking from the nutrition of just fruit. I tend to struggle to get the appropriate amount of protein so I've started putting spinach with everything. (I hate peanut butter and my favorite meats are fried. It's been too windy to grill so…

Smile and say "I can lose the weight, but it's a shame you can't fix your ignorance" I'm only kidding. But on a serious note. Find the comfort in yourself that you know what you're doing. You know how hard it's been. Take comfort in that. Who cares what other people thing about it

Watching every calorie you eat tends to make you more aware of what you're eating. So, yes. Guilt can definitely ensue. If you were maintaining a healthy weight before calorie counting, just keep doing what you were doing before. Sometimes being aware causes us some issues. But, if you are that severely displeased when you…

You say he is seriously under eating. But he said he is consuming 1400 calories a day. That's correct for weight loss with someone of his size. MFP tells me to consume 1200 a day. He isn't under eating unless he is highly active. OP: what is your activity level like? Are you working out? Doing a lot of cardio? If you are,…
