After close to 50 years of drinking, there were some really heavy decades of abuse, I read Rational Recovery (yeah, I'd done 4 years in AA-sorry it's not a disease, cirrhosis is a disease) and have been sober for months. I know longer have to sacrifice food to satiate my drinking desires. I'm free.
