happy New Year all! I used MFP to lose over 35lbs back in 2017 and I've gained almost all of it back. I'm starting back again and looking forward to losing the weight doing what worked in the past, CICO. Good luck to each and everyone of you. We can do this together. One day at a time. 2022 is our year to shine :) Jan…

Started my journey July 4th. I've officially lost 1 inch/ 2.54cm from my hips. My weight has been fluctuating like a normal human body but this last week it's steadily coming down ounce by ounce 😁 My hips are my number 1 problem area so an inch off is good news.😆 Now onto the next inch. My goal is only to lose additional…

I track my weight on MFP, my excel spreadsheet and Garmin connect app since I have a Garmin fitness watch.

It's been 1 month only and I noticed a slight change in my before and after photo. It's so important for me to take monthly photos and body measurements. Despite the expectation of weight fluctuations, which can really mess with my head, I lost 1/2 inch from my hips. 😊

Mini goal just fit comfortable into my size 8 Old Navy denim shorts. It's very snug right now. Last time it was comfortable and even lose on me was summer 2018. Also, I'm not asking for much, I just want to lose 1inch from my hips every month.😊

I still got it! The incredible impact of determination, persistence and overall willpower. I mentioned earlier the "no excuses" mindset was the NSV I needed to kickstart my weight loss goal. After 2 failed weight loss attempts ,January 1st and May 1st, I restarted my weight loss journey on July 4th and I'm down 4lbs. It's…

Recent NSV, getting back to that determined no excuses mindset that pushed me to lose over 30lbs 2 years ago. That's an achievement. The right mindset makes it possible to preserve and overcome ALL obstacles in this life long weight loss journey. I'm doing what worked before, the slow weight loss approach and just trusting…

Others noticed at 10lbs. Makes sense since I'm short 5'2" so 10lbs is a relatively high loss for my short height. Every 5lbs lost it shows. It's very noticeable at 20lbs.

I weigh daily for the first 3 months then switch to weekly and focus more on my measurements.
-
Yeah I forgot to include the negative signs for numbers at the bottom. Based on my calculations I’ve consistently been in a deficit since December 25. Granted these are all estimates, my intake calories are from MFP based on every food I eat which I weigh on my food scale. My activity calories are from my Garmin connect…

This was my reasoning for buying the analog scale because I assumed it’s more accurate than digital.

Yeah the 10lbs difference is concerning. My job has a digital scale and I think a beam scale too. I’ll check tomorrow morning with both and see the difference.

A very strange NSV worth sharing. I wear size 2- 4 dresses however because of my big hips, I can only wear flare dresses in 2/4 since they won't fit my bottom. It’s been a while but last time i tried a form fitting dress with no stretchy fabric that could comfortable go pass my hips and it was in a size 8. Because of my…

It’s been a while since I posted a NSV for good reason. I had one today. I haven’t had any change in weight since April 1st. Technically I’m in a “plateau”. My weight has pretty much stayed the same fluctuating between the same 3-4lbs. I haven’t had much changes in my measurements either. Fortunately I’ve made losing…

Op with a pre-existing heart condition, spikes in heart rate with just walking needs to be checked by a cardiologist to make sure everything is okay. The cardiologist may do an exercise stress, even possibly order a halter monitor to monitor your cardiac rhythm for days. You should be able to just call your primary care…
