Lol this!! Exactly this!

I have lost it and kept it off, from a starting bmi of 36.4 been right at bmi 24 or slighty under for about 5-6 years. The reason I'm back here is because I need to get closer to 20 for sports. So yes, it's possible. I did it.

He's just challenged you, typical **itheaded teen who thinks he's too cool to act civily. Look, it's the gym staff that should call him out, not sheepishly stay late to clean up after this brat. So, first thing to do, complain to the staff. Calling them out is useless, they'll take on the challenge, but stealing their…

Vegetables, vegetables, vegetables...mix and match them.

Since you don't eat the bones you either de-bone (but for some dishes you may be losing a little bit of flavour) or you do weight with bone minus leftover bones. There you go.

Well, as a vegan you won't have protein without carbs. They can be low gi carbs, etc...but they'll be there so if you want to limit your intake you must make sensible choices on your other foods. I.e. pasta, bread, etc...typical starchy things. Seitan (assuming you can do gluten) is possibly the vegan protein with the…

Just tried, it's actually in the database. And this is wow! I could barely make them non-vegan (as in, try, say a prayer and maybe 1 out of 12 will raise) but as I have had better results with vegan baking than with non-vegan I may be successful!

Oooh...triathletes!! <3 I didn't know there were more of us here!! Adding all of you!

I suppose you can make ice cream just putting that in the fridge... I heard about it but never had the courage to try. Do you log it?

Italy! This thread looks like the opening ceremony at the Olympics!

And that's awesome!!

I just finished putting down my meals for Sunday as a form of meal planning. But I haven't logged anything for Saturday yet because I have everything packed in tupperware already so it's plain data entry to do...while on Sunday I do mean to cook, for real. Uncommon for me!

Carrots. Been buying them like I'm supporting all carrot farmers in the country.

How about you make a big baking dish of mixed cut up veggies like peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, cauliflower...and whatever your kids will eat. Drizzle of olive oil and bake. The tomatoes will coat the other veggies for flavour too. Can be used as a side for meat/fish or you could add cold pasta to it for a salad.

I'm afraid my breakfast is a little too unconventional but I'll give it a go...might be inspiration anyway. It's: 150g egg whites (cooked in a non-stick pan) or 1 can tuna in brine or 100g of whatever cooked seafood plus 40g oat bran (weighted dry, then I cook it with a little water so it's like oatmeal) plus a big bowl…

What works for me is to keep busy and phisically away from the fridge. Great if I can go hiking or I have to do errands, shopping, training...whatever can keep me out of the house. But I've got to be back in the house at some time anyway, then it's chores and all things to do. I spend very little time at home everyday so…

To be honest I think losing whatever weight, be it 100 or more lbs won't change the way he treats you. He'll find another excuse, the only difference is now he has a big one that you too validate because you too say you're disgusted with yourself. He's just riding that wave, validating your feelings and making you feel…

I'd say mostly pescetarian, I eat meat once every 10 days or so...because it's in the freezer already and I want to run out of it. I don't think I'm going to buy it again, not really happy with farmed meat from a nutritional viewpoint. I'm toying with the idea of going fully vegan, will probably experiment it at some point…

Love it, thanks for posting!

My junior at work just yesterday said "drinking water helps flush the adipose liquid that is on our bellies"...I preferred to ask none about this obscure "adipose liquid".

Same here, 5ft 4 currently 138 and aiming to 120...looks nothing but it's not!!

Two things work best for me, one is to get on youtube and watch some motivational video. My fav channel is Motivation Grid but there are many other good ones. Another thing I do to motivate myself is to get on google and look for images of my competitors, I love my sport to bits, maybe I'm having a bad day but seeing my…

Oh dear, you're incredible. You look totally like a different person, I wouldn't be surprised if you needed a new photo on your passport!! Congratulations, but just congratulations doesn't even begin to cut it, how much you deserve it. You're amazing.

I like raisins in it but if you have some flavoured protein powder it can be even better...you add the protein and improve the flavour too without adding extra carbs.

Promised myself a spa entry and a shopping trip when I hit my next mini goal...and I need both just so much!!

When I want to go down hard on it I do Toes-to-bar with a few secs L-hold, or even Knees-to-bar. They're a killer. Currently I am bound to do bodyweight work and not go down too hard on it. This was the core part of my workout of last night (ball is a soccer ball, not the big pilates ball). I had plenty of fun, admittedly.…

A little bit of insight, I was a bodybuilder before turning to triathlon and yes I was the typical skimpy dressed bodybuilder girl hanging around the alpha males. You shouldn't get nervous around people in the gym because well, nobody really cares about you because people are usually too busy being concerned about…

The point of an upper/lower program is to let half the body rest and recover while the other half works out so personally I wouldn't do that. It'd mean you're actually working total body on both days, which defeats the purpose of having an upper/lower program. But this is not the end, you could incorporate upper body plyos…

That's an hard choice, no joke. Well, I'll tell you my idea. Your current gym is lovely, I understand the personal connection you have with the people but it is hindering your progress as you cannot go as much as you would like. And this to me is the deal breaker. Nothing in the world should get on your way, not a person,…

I'm a triathlete doing twice a day training session. The first is at 4.00, usually running or cycling (because the pool is closed!), my alarm goes off at 3.45. I don't eat before training except for a couple of supplements but we're talking just a couple pills. Some time ago I used to have a little jam but I ditched it, at…
