I stressed about it when I first started too, just because it's hard to ignore when it's red every day. I removed it, so that I track sugar in its place. I don't even want to see it. Unless you have high blood pressure or your doctor wants you to reduce it, maybe you can just adjust what you track?

I prefer listening to music. Usually just throw Pandora on.

I had breakfast for lunch today :) Open-faced egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. Basically just so I can add eggs and get more protein.

First of all, your face is adorable! And like everyone said, it's all about genetics. I have an oval face, so even though it gets puffy when I'm overweight, that's the first part of my body that gets leaner when I start losing weight. I would love to see it come off my belly first, but ah well.

I think it all depends on how they make you feel. I have noticed that my body can handle small amounts of aspartame with no issues, but sorbitol is deadly to my digestive system. The flavored sparkling water I drink has sucralose (Splenda), and those are ok as long as I have no more than about 20 ounces a day. When I go…

Same. This happened to me this week. My stomach just looks different (and less bloated/hard), and the amount I was peeing was making my insane. Then for the next 2 days, I lost like 5-6 lbs. My carbs were also a little lower (unintentionally), so all that water weight just dropped.

I don't remember if I responded yet, but no never. I have never had a doctor talk to me about my weight, and I have been 100lbs overweight for about 15-ish years. But I also never had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or pre-diabetes, or any other conditions sometimes related to weight. But when nobody says…

I'm only down 13 lbs so far, so I didn't think there would be any noticeable changes yet. But I went to Torrid, and suddenly all my shirts are a 0 (XL) instead of a 1 (2X) now. Which means one more size down, and I can't shop there anymore!

I don't trust it 100% (I use a Fitbit), so I eat about 1/2-3/4 of my exercise calories back. Just in case. I have been losing consistently, but not too quickly (not more than 1.5-2 lbs a week), so I assume I found the right method.

Potatoes might be my #1 reason for never going low carb again.

Medium to dark blue, depending what I'm wearing.

I always burn more when I walk faster at a higher incline than jogging at a 0 or 1 incline. But it really depends on what you prefer.

This. People aren't "bashing keto". A lot of people (myself included) have actually done Keto (and fracking hated it), and just shared our personal experience with it. Which is what she was asking for in the first place.

Make a list of foods that are super low in net carbs and ask yourself if you can eat only those foods for the rest of your life. If not, I wouldn't bother with it. I had several issues with it, but the food itself was one of the biggest.

After many failed attempts, I learned that the only things I can focus on are calories and protein. Any time I try to focus on the other macros, I get obsessive, I try to cook things I don't enjoy, then it creates a binge/restrict cycle for me. And I only track protein because the higher it is, the more satiated I am. I…

Walked at the harbor and beach near here. Seriously my favorite way to exercise.

I think you got all the answers you need, but my 2 cents is that you should do whatever workouts you enjoy. If you like the treadmill, use the treadmill. I do think it's good to experiment when you feel up for it, but don't force yourself! If I try something I absolutely hate, I just find something else, because I know I…

San Pedro? That is the only city near-ish Long Beach I can think of lol. And hi neighbor! I'm in San Diego.

Shoot I missed it! I think I will save it for next month when I'm done with this 30-day Fitness Blender program.
-
I only log what I drink it with (usually protein shakes or protein powder).

I semi plan it out. I choose what I want for the week before grocery shopping, then I log my MFP a few days in advance. But if I change my mind, I will just log something different. I'm not too picky about it as long as it's still within my calories.

And I just want to add about a week or so ago, I had a BIG temptation where I was probably seconds from ordering everything I could afford on Door Dash. I started a post here, and got a lot of good feedback. When in doubt, reach out for support!

I am 31 days binge free today. The problem is that the way you overcome it is going to be different for everyone. The best advice I have is to first figure out WHY you are binging. And you need to give yourself a break and stop beating yourself up every time you have a binge or compulsively overeat. That's going to start a…

There is kind of a weird negativity with resolutions, but I would never judge someone for wanting to be healthier, no matter when they choose to do it. And it's usually followed by "this won't last" comments, which just suck. For me personally, I started in the beginning of December on a Thursday. Purposely, because I…

Thanks, I think I am still going to next week. I have to go for another reason anyway, so I can bring it up.

It's not a meal replacement, but I like the Evolve protein shakes. I have that with coffee in the morning, and it tastes just like a chocolate iced mocha, without all the added sugar (compared to like Starbucks) and they're dairy-free. They taste just like the Premier Protein shakes, so if you can have dairy, I would…

Thanks everyone! I’m going to assume it’s a migraine or tension headache. I drink quite a bit of water during the day (80-100 ounces) so I’m not sure it’s dehydration. I’m going to try walking tomorrow with no running and see if I notice a difference.

I sometimes sip on water, but not usually. It's only 45 minutes indoors (not in heat or anything) so it didn't seem necessary.
