I asked both my personal trainer and my nutritionist, also a personal trainer. They both use MFP for food and cardio, but not for strength training. I don't know how they train, but when I work out with my personal trainer almost nothing we do is already an exercise in MFP and I wouldn't be able to keep track of it all…

Do you have to use my fitness pal to track your exercise? I work with a personal trainer and we don't do standard things listed in my MFP. I also can't keep track of the many things we do during the hour so I track with my Apple Watch using the "other" workout feature.

I am in for the abs. I do planks with my personal trainer, but we haven't gone past 30 seconds. I'm a bit skeptical about getting to 2 minutes in 4 weeks, but it will be interesting to try. Whatever happens I will have a stronger core.
