  • Made a salad tonight that was lettuce and baby spinach from my own garden, fresh local strawberries, feta cheese and homemade white balsamic vinigarette. Yum!
  • I only lost 2 pounds from the start of this. Actually that is pretty good considering I am having a hard time keeping in my calorie range most days! Ha! Gives me motivation to hit it harder.
  • I will definitely meet the week 2 challenge. I usually do work out 3 times a week, so I will add one or more extra workouts. My goal for week 2 (movement related, as stated above), will be to go for a midday or evening walk everyday.
  • Yesterday I did so well; got a lot of exercise and ate well. Today was the complete opposite; didn't exercise and ate terribly. Oh well, one day at a time.

  • Went for a hike in the woods this evening with my boyfriend Matt and my beagle Cooper. Was more like a woods walk than a hike because it was relatively flat and easy, but we had a great time. Burned some calories so I could enjoy a beer when we got home. Haha.

  • I've made 2 different flavors of overnight oats a while ago. Chocolate peanut butter and cinnamon bun. They were both pretty good but I think I like the cinnamon bun one the best. Now that I'm writing about it I want to make some!
