from what i understand, you just want any shade that's not "negative." it's more of just a yes/no answer to if you are in ketosis. i've read that the urine tests are not as reliable as blood tests, but i've always shown some level of positive ketones since a couple of weeks after dropping my carbs.

i'd read more into exogenous ketones. i've heard they're a waste of money. your body creates ketones while burning fat; exo ketones add nothing to the process.
