Just booked a cruise for November. A few of my sisters, brothers and other relations are going too! I want to look good in the pictures and not have to look around for someone to stand behind. (especially hard since I'm the shortest one in the group)

Aside from the different body types and the areas where people lose first...lycra and spandex and elastic waistbands. I find my clothes still fit after a 25 lbs loss, simply by not stretching out so much. Just this past week I was wearing my black jeans and there was a gap in the waist. Not sure if I'm ready to shop for…

I started this challenge at 201 4/19- 192.9 Didn't quite make 10 lbs but close. It's odd, I didn't realize how close I was to making the goal until today!

I was watching my 2 yo granddaughter, she was singing "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" so I sang and danced with her. I touched my toes, didn't realize I was doing it until the 15th- 20th time (kids) Just easily bent at waist and touched my toes!

When I go to the theater I usually eat at Maria Pia http://www.mariapianyc.com/ They have a nice price fixed menu and the size of the portion is reasonable, not huge, so it's easier to stay within a reasonable calorie count

Next to a strip club??? Really? I'm thinking you must be kidding. I just reread your post and I'm thinking it has to be a joke, a $300,000 house in an area that sells for less than $100,000. It's not convenient. It needs work. There's undisclosed problems. And you WANT to buy it??? RUN
-
Question, won't the VA appraise the house? You may be able to use that as a negotiating tool because they usually appraise low

My experience: About 20 years ago I bought a house that had problems, needed updating all over the place. It had been on the market for over 3 years, great area and big enough for all my kids, 4, to have their own rooms. Great school district and convenient to stores and restaurants and banks. They had been chasing the…

I've always had muscular legs. Firm. Now that I've lost 22 lbs I notice my thighs are dimpled, cellulite...seriously dimpled. I don't know if it's my age (65) but I hope it goes away.

My point was, you can really torpedo a weeks success by eating out. If you pre plan and get the chicken and broccoli or a salad without the cheese and heavy dressings you can eat out and stay in your daily plan. If you go for the higher calorie alternatives but take home half, split it into 2 meals, you can stay on track.…

Funny, I got a coupon for TGI Fridays. I looked at their website, if I eat any of the meals on the coupon I would be over for the day! Eating nothing else all day! So I checked out "Friendly's"...pretty much the same story. And Applebees, and Chilis! Of course I do eat out, but I've become proficient at dividing the meal…

I noticed my muffin top is almost gone I slept over at a relatives and I had some clothes there, but no jeans. Except an old uncomfortable pair that I had planned to donate, they were tight in the waist and low rise. Tried them on and they fit! (still going to donate them because I don't like the cut) Someone at work…

I don't get how anyone comfortably buys bathing suits. Even when I was thin I hated that experience.

3/2- 197.8 Yippee!

I have 2 kids who are in serious relationships. If either decide to marry I want to look good in the pictures. I lost about 20 lbs before my elder son got married, it wasn't enough and it didn't stay off. This time I want it to stay off and I have time to do it right

I have to leave my house at 11 for a noon shift, 11am is to early for lunch but I don't get home until almost 7pm and I do get hungry. I started making a sandwich on a "thin" or Stop and Shop brand low calorie rye bread. It's easy to weigh the meat before I leave. In a pinch I go to "Subway" and get a 6" with ham, veggies…

I'm 65 and newly divorced so I think that should count as losing 245 lbs of ugly fat.

Been there, done that. In 2017 I went from 216 to 185...and leveled off for several weeks. I just got frustrated with the lack of movement with the scale. I stopped logging and stepped away. 2 years later I was back up to 213. I'm trying to stay strong this time and not let a stall throw me. I did keep some of the good…

Also, adding cheese, creamy dressings, soy and duck sauce all add calories. I remember when I realized I could drop almost 100 calories from a whopper jr. just by holding the mayo. Life altering!

I think I'm the only female on the planet who couldn't care less about shoes. I'll wear the same ones over and over as long as they are comfortable. How much do used shoes cost anyway? As much as a dishwasher??? (I'm thinking yucky, skunky, cooties in those shoes) So I would go for the dishwasher

Down to 199.3 this week!

If you're not weighing your food you should start there. Get a scale, you will be amazed at what a "portion" looks like. Cereal is an eye opener, no more big bowls! I was also surprised at how much more vegetables I could eat. 4-5 ounces of meat? A "medium" potato?

2 or 3, Chicos size. Talk about vanity sizing!
-
Tilapia, it's a mushy fish! I like fish with texture.

I went from chasing around 4 kids to a retail job, both high calorie burning jobs. Getting a "better" job, sitting all day in a cubicle and not adjusting my diet really packed on the pounds.
