You can wear a HR strap for exact calories burned or a Fitbit, it won’t be as precise but will be close enough. If you do a few workouts it will give you the average you are looking for.

Toronto, lost 20lb, the plan is to loose another 5 and then try body recomp to finally get back to flat stomach.

Same here, feel awful if I overeat and also can't drink as much alcohol as I used to. My guess is that it always felt awful, but it was normal back then. The new normal is to feel good and the contrast is more drastic during overeating.

-I don't judge myself after having a day with lots of calories -I let myself enjoy it -It is easier to come back to normal days as there is no guilt -I do it by knowing that i am in this for a long haul, so a day or two won't matter in a long term.

I had the same problem with my Vivosmart. I found that it is two parts 1) if you don't wear it exactly at the end of the wrist, the HR it calculates is way to high and it gives you the active minutes 2) I've disconnected the watch from Garmin Connect.
