  • This is so funny that you post this now. I recently been telling peopke i have so much positive energy that it is similar to a high. But how woukd i know I have never done any illegal drugs. But here is another reason to try this diet
  • I tried the chicken crust not bad. My favorite is simply take a handful of mozzarella cook it in a pan at low heat and add a little sauce and pepperoni and wait for the cheese to get crispy (not burned - low heat). Its great. I tried cauliflower, almond flour, the chicken crust. The pan is my favorite!
  • You may need to readjust your calories and macros, that what i needed to do to break my stall BUT!!!!!!!!! I see you are breastfeeding and I dont encourage you to do anything other than ensure you are getting the proper nutrients for the baby. If that means you stall for a bit - so beit.
  • Keto, low carb, paleo, grapefruit. Does not matter what diet. Laws of physics cannot be broken , to lose weight you must be in a calorie deficit. There is no magic, believe me I tried
  • Just think of the keto energy high the person will get when your blood is pumped into them
  • Use a whole green pepper filled with cheese and you will give Fat Bombs new meaning
  • My weight chart looks like a cardio gram bounces all over the place but I give it a solid month to see if the chart is downward sloping
  • Mathematically you would need to burn 35,000 calories more than you take in by the 4th (27 days). This would be a burn per day of 1,296 / day more than you take in. Ummm, mathematically possible but realistically? How about doing the best you can do and see where you fall by the 4 th.
  • That's a good strategy!
  • First and foremost, the only way to lose weight is to take in fewer calories than what you burn. Does not matter if it is the Keto, Low Carb, Low Fat, Paleo or grapefruit diet. The reason some who choose LCHF as their means to lose weight is because the food is great (no rice cakes!) you can eat and feel full (unlike other…
  • For me the NSV's have been: Better Sleep (no more snoring), Acid Reflux gone & More Energy than in a long time.

  • Ketostix work well enough for me and are cheap at Walgreens. I rarely use them anymore. You know you are a fat burner when you have voided carbs and stuck with it for awhile
  • The bloating and gaining weight if you introduce a good portion of carbs back into your diet, is due to the water retention. You dont gain 5 pounds of fat weight overnight, just like we dont lose 5 pounds of fat weight on a LCHF. The more I learn about the science of how the body treats/acts with eating food its amazing.…
  • good luck! keep it up.

  • Wow, alot going on in this post. I will share what I learned about IF. After 6 hours of eating your insulin levels fall. Stored Glycogen is broken down into glucose for energy. The body has stores for about 24 hours then must switch to the next source. Stored Fat. Now these times are for those on a SAD diet. For those of…
  • I have a few intrigued questions: Where you fasting to lose weight? If yes, where you in a calorie deficit when you fasted? It does not make sense that you did not lose weight if fasting and in a calorie deficit. I am truly interested because I am just starting to kick in IF.
  • I am on 20 hours myself right now. I created a little tracker to tick off each hour to keep me focused and make a game out of how long I can go. My brain wants to scream "your hungry eat"! But I don't feel overly hungry. I think I am a little hungry but only because I think I am thinking about it. If that makes any sense?…
  • Hey man, keep up the walking and working towards your goals. Let me be super HONEST here and sorry if it gets you a little mad at me. Dont look for ways to sabotage your progress. Now that said I am assuming you are on the LCHF community because you want to be low carb. Otherwise you would be somewhere else. So that said…
  • It definitely gets debated - some like the fur others not soo much!
  • Ha ha! That would be a good thing to do once I get my abs to start popping. For now the extra fur covers up the extra fat. But I am always looking to support a good charity. Funny - Thanks for the laugh!
  • I wont touch the calorie counting question. It gets a bit touchy. But if you truly want to lose weight you must be in a calorie deficit - period. Low Carb, High Carb etc...you cant lose weight taking in more energy than your burning. So however you want to ensure your in a deficit thats for you to decide. If you want to be…

  • No exercise on a LCHF requires more carbs. Walking certainly would not. If you truly want to burn more fat, cut out the carbs.
  • MCT has no taste. Coconut Oil has the coconut taste. MCT is burned faster than Coconut Oil but both have the same properties. I prefer MCT because of the neutral taste.
  • They exist and you will have to change something that worked before. Change your macros change your daily calories change your exercise routine. For me it was intermittent fasting.
  • I am getting serous now about IF. I am on a low carb diet and these tend to work well with IF. My latest go at it has got me through the plateau I was stuck at. Message me any questions you may have.
  • Someone else beat me to it. In my opinion, I am not telling you what to do, you dont have to eat if your not hungry! Thats the beauty of our LCHF. Just wait until you do get hungry and then eat. But again my suggestion.
  • First pic was on Jan 1 2017 so 6 months.
