Wonder Woman! I had some problems with the screenwriting, but it was definitely enjoyable.

Week 2 Day 2 went great yesterday! I breezed through, it was over before I knew it, and I hardly broke a sweat! Weird considering how tough Week 2 Day 1 was, but awesome!

I did Week 2 Day 2 today! 2.1 was tough but today was no sweat!

Pretty much the point of TrendWeight is to see the general trend without getting sidetracked by peaks and valleys. So yeah, the image I posted does look pretty smooth if you look at the line, but the individual dots are my actual weight. So if you look at it in MFP's graph, the same three months look like this: Definitely…

I think it's fine--preferable, even--to feel good about doing something good. It might be purer in some academic way if it's wholly altruistic, I guess, but I think it's better to do good regardless of motivation than not to do good because you're concerned about why you're doing it.

Today is Week 2 Day 2 for me! I first tried W1D1 a couple months ago and couldn't complete the second minute of running, so I developed a plan to get me ready for Couch to 5K, which I called Bed to Couch. It worked great, and now I'm really doing it! Not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous about what's coming up, but if I try…

More unpopular fitness opinions: I think the word 'fitness' is meaningless without context. Fit for what, exactly? I'm absolutely fit to do my taxes, but I am not fit to design an automobile. I'm fit to mow the lawn, but not to perform surgery. I'm fit to be on reality television, but not to lead a nation. I think people…

Unpopular fitness opinions: People should stay in their own lanes and let each other do their thing without giving unsolicited advice or opinions. People who ask for advice or opinions shouldn't be surprised or offended if the responses they get aren't what they're hoping for. People who give advice or opinions, solicited…

Skipping a meal once in a while is fine. Some people do it all the time. For me personally? It wouldn't work. I would be miserable and extremely hungry, and probably lose control and binge as soon as I had access to food. No good. In my case, I'd rather get a less than ideal meal at a fast food joint and go a little over…

I weigh daily, too. Here is my last 3 months. Lots of ups and downs, perfectly nice downward trend. I don't get hung up on daily fluctuations.

I have two, both chosen because they were cheap. I haven't calibrated either so I can't attest to their precision, but they're absolutely sufficient for my purposes. I'm not doing any sensitive scientific work with them. My main food scale is this one. It weighs up to 11 pounds in increments of 0.05 oz or 1 gram.…

I usually keep two different mayos and a mayo substitute on hand. My real fave is Kewpie, but it's pricey, so I only use it when the mayo is really a star ingredient. For normal mayo applications I use Helman's original. And if I need to be lower in calories, I use nonfat plain greek yogurt. In some cases it's an…
