Sorry uhhh....enjoy!

Yay! Congrats!

You got a two for one egg? Nice although morbidly I'm thinking about you eating twins. I'd probably log it as two since the bulk of your calories come from the yolk.
-
2 slices, yes. 3 slices though...nope.

Economics!

The pitcher rarely sees the bat flip. They're usually like *kittttttten* but I see no difference between a bat flip and a pitcher walking off the mound after a strike out while looking.

Look at my diary and you can get a good idea...yesterday was a bad example...but I usually net under 1350 and walk 10k steps a day. I typically eat salmon, avocado, cucumber, lime juice salad for lunch and dinner is chicken thighs, asparagus and potato. For snacks, tons of carrots and PB2 along with airpopped popcorn.

Freakanomics did a podcast about this. A study determined that although some restaurants have to post nutritional data on their menus, it's rare for consumers to even pay attention to them.

Marriage is a ridiculous concept to me.

I think alcohol is poison that makes me feel great and then bad the next day. But I drink once a week usually with my friends and my boyfriend. I have steadily lost weight. The number one thing I have learned in weight loss is planning. Planning ahead has saved me many, many calories. I pre log my beer or my vodka soda…

No one says you're cheating. When you log that you ate 100 calories of peanut butter, how do you know you're eating 100 calories of peanut butter?

I've lost 25lbs and no one has noticed...except my boyfriend who knows I've been trying and is insanely supportive so I don't count that. Last night his roommate made a comment that he had lost 13lbs after being sick and I smirked considering he hasn't said a word to me about my loss. But I see him every week. I also am…

Me too!!

I am averaging 1.8lbs a week.

I would underestimate your exercise calories and eat half of those exercise calories back. I think your exercise calories are higher than what you're actually burning.

Cumin, paprika, sat and pepper are my go to for chicken thighs.

If I know I am going to eat over my maintenance calories on say a Friday night...I don't feel guilty but I certainly don't feel amazing. It's not guilt but more of an urge to want to get back into my routine. If I exercise prior though, I usually feel better.

I started at 221, goal was 1550, lightly active and counted every step as exercise. Set to lose 2lbs/week. Made sure I walked 10k steps a day and didn't eat much of those exercise calories back. 14 weeks later, down to 194 and now at 1350. Will need to eventually move to 1lb/week of loss but have been averaging about…

Go peek in the success story section of MFP. You'll find the majority of successes are from plain ole calorie restriction.

Coming from a family where my Mom and both older sisters are overweight, I myself being overweight most of my life (yet still being a D1 athlete), I wish I had had a parent like you who would've cooked me healthy meals, did exercise WITH me and talked to me about nutrition. It doesn't come across as obsessive to me. It's…

From my POV, everyone is narcissistic. It's necessary for survival.

This makes sense since I am new to Halo Top and bought the sea salt caramel and every time I scanned, it was showing a lower calorie serving. I was thinking they must have changed something recently.

They also may not be using a foodscale and truly not understanding how many calories they're eating. They also may not understand that they're already at a significant calorie deficit if their goal is to lose 2lbs/week , meaning if they exceed their calorie goal by 100 calories in day or even everyday that week, they won't…

Use this as an exercise for when you're in maintence. Make smart choices, have a side salad before the pizza and only have a couple slices. Or eat 4 slices, have a beer and work out a little more tomorrow or later on in the week. Either way, enjoy the evening out!
