I was just going to say that! It happened to us once- it turned out to be imported ones from china. It lasted about ten days and was truly dreadful. Can't bear to have them any more - even make our own pesto now, sans pine nuts!

I appreciate you're not in the uk, but you might never the less try googling Jack Monroe. She's a good writer who brought up her kid on a very very tight budget. All her recipes are costed- so you might find some good ideas there. Think the blog is called 'cooking on a boot strap'

Well, if we're eating out a lot, I tend to choose fish or chicken, with the sauce on the side. Just maybe try to avoid things that are 'buttered' or 'smothered in' or 'triple fried' - go for grilled instead. I've lost about 35lbs and mine has adjusted automatically- in fact it went down by another 10 today!

Have you been able to establish a pattern to your bingeing? Any particular times of day/ triggers/ food types? Do you still record it all when you do binge? Don't beat yourself up over it- we're all here to get healthier and happier.

Wasn't going to weigh myself until 1 month in- couldn't resist it as 1 week in....... lost 5lbs 4oz, woo hoo! I'm sure it won't be this easy some weeks but so far I feel GREAT!!! Hope you're all having a good week too
