Coconut flour can be tricky, indeed! I second your suggestion to sift it. I always use a blend of almond and coconut, as the texture comes out better.

@JessicaLCHF They look like cheddar biscuits! Or some type of bread! Would they make a good breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, and cheese?

Thank you. He's doing fine. Benadryl to the rescue!

Yum!!!!!! I'm really craving some yummy lemon desserts! Yay summer!
-
Nooo!! The fur is mainly!! And the zits you get after that much waxing wouldn't be worth it!
-
You had me at cheetos!!!! I'll add this to my list of recipe tests!!

Sorry. My entire day was messed up yesterday. My 4 year old had a severe allergic reaction to a new medication and I wasn't able to cook. As soon as I cook these, I'll post my recipe and review.

@ladipoet I just said Lilly's because it's a well know LCHF item. You can what ever chocolate suits you. To be honest, I'm not revisiting this recipe. I made it super chocolaty and it didn't help. That avocado flavor is sooo strong. And the aftertaste is disgusting.

Good idea, but I'm not a fan of mole.

I had two low carb friends over this weekend and let them try them. They couldn't get past the heavy avocado taste either. They have a lingering after taste from the avocado as well. So the rest went into the trash. It's too bad, because the texture was perfect!

Eat some Lilly's dark chocolate chips with some avocado. If you like that flavor combo, go for it. I actually like avocado but in the brownies it was very off putting because the avocado flavor stood out so much. If you don't like avocado on its own, you may not like this. Try it out with some chocolate and see.

We've all been there. Don't be so hard on your self.

@food_lover16 I just posted a full review in a new thread. Check it out. But basically the texture is great but they aren't my personal cup of tea because the strong avocado flavor is off putting.

Remember this is a marathon not a sprint. You will see more progress with MONTHS than days. Keep it up! Just keep "running".

You are so right about taking the pics! I was feeling down and I as doubting my progress. It wasn't until I saw the pics side by side that I realized how far I've come! Process pics are so important! The scale doesn't always show all the progress!!!

Yum!!!

I haven't tried them yet. I stole a piece as they are out of the oven and the flavor was so avocado-intense that I nearly gagged. And I actually like avocado... maybe just not in my brownies? Some things are better when they've completely cooled off (like cheesecake), so I decided to let them set over night and I'll try…

Might as well throw my progress pic up... I'm pretty much at my goal. Goal was 120 pounds but my body is happy at 124-125. So I'm not gonna sweat it. Next major goal is a nsv of having a good MRI result with my liver!!!
-
lol well, since you put it that way!

I would only get it when I did house work all day, never sat down to watch tv (typically I would take a lunch break and eat while watching tv).... and would also go take a 45 min walk. I have a friend who put the tv in her work out room. If she wants to watch tv, she has to do so from the treadmill! I have another friend…

Yikes!

Thanks y'all. I appreciate the kind words!

5'4".... or actually 5'4.25" but hey who's counting
-
My scale has yo-yo'd around 124-126 pounds for over a month! It's why I decided to take my progress pic! I needed motivation to keep going. I'm also counting all of my non scale victories!

If I can manage it today, I'll try cooking these. If my kids take good naps today!
