they didn't. But they did have my cashew milk and they did have my figs, and they did have a blackberry pomegranate crystal light drink mix - those pouches you pour into a 16 oz bottle of water? I have unflavored gelatin so I'm giving that a try first. I used 1 bottle of hint pineapple flavored water, 1 pouch of gelatin,…

This irritation has nothing to do with diet....well, some, I suppose. I need to make a Blackberry Delight for dessert for tomorrow. I need raspberry sugar free jello. I was at Walmart last night; they had no sugar free jello in any brand at all. (this particular Walmart hardly stocks anything). Today, I went to the local…

I was right! Whoosh this morning - 230.1 lbs down to 227.2 lbs! And it got my HappyScale trend back under 230 again!

With the way my body has been acting today, I suspect I might see something of a woosh tomorrow morning with some water weight gone. then again, I'm sore from my class tonight, especially my arms, so that might counter any water weight losses I dumped today......

That is one downside to my weight loss; I've really noticed lately just how much weaker I've gotten since I lost weight, especially lately. :frowning:

Depending on what kind of stock you want to make, you can buy a semi-boneless ham to get the bone or a pack of bone-in pork chops, or buy a whole chicken - those are relatively cheap, or get a small turkey breast bone in (not so cheap). Beef is harder; the only thing I can think of are t-bone steaks.

The water weight is still coming down slowly, but I did a check in this morning to get re-started, and it has me up 1.8 lbs from my last recorded weight, which was not my lowest all time weight - I'm still up 5.3 lbs from my all time lowest of 224.8 lbs. I was sedentary yesterday with less than 2,000 steps, but ended up…

yep - twice; once when I was at my absolute heaviest before the first weight loss and again in 2015 when I was 145 lbs heavier than I am now. Both times I came back borderline; the first time, I consented to giving the machine a try for 3 months and could not get used to it at all; even at the lowest setting, the pressure…

I've never heard of a breve but if its half cream and half coffee, I'd probably like it!

The water weight is dropping, thank heavens! I'm down to 230.8 today and thats even with pushing mowing a very rugged terrain for 90 minutes yesterday. There will still be a gain shown on the scale tomorrow compared to my weight 2 weeks ago (I didn't bother doing a weekly weigh in last week because of the severe water…

I can sympathize - water weight is killing me! I was up 10 lbs at the maximum on Sunday morning; its down to 8 lbs water this morning, which is actually surprising considering the jiu-jitsu session I had yesterday and meaning it is slowly coming back off, but its taking it good old sweet time. Heat and humidity is that…

@NovusDies I hear a dog is a great way of making sure you get your activity in :) I don't have a dog, though, and with 5 cats, that might not be a good addition to my family at the moment lol I'm back to deficit eating today. I'm still carrying 8.6 lbs over my lowest weight recording, so it will be a while before I can…

I read one of his books once (the blood sugar diet one), that recommended the 800 VLCD, but from what I remember in the book, it highly stressed that it was to be done for a very restricted time frame under medical supervision - definitely not long term. The danger I'm seeing in the books and the tv shows is how many…

@ChrissyChickie If you keep digging through the forums and search using terms like Weight Loss Surgery or WLS, I think you'll find what you are looking for as there are many folks here who have had it done, who have the long term experience with it, or have watched family members live with it. With the age of this thread,…

When I buy chips, this is what I've been doing and trying to convince my mother to do the same (that's an uphill battle). For the camping trip, I bought a box of the single serving chips. My dad's doctor has him counting carbs for his diabetes and trying to get some weight off, but getting mom to realize that she has to…

that's great news! This was a good week for you!

*sigh* My sister's internet modem went out and the cable company won't get a tech here until Thursday (would have been earlier if she had just listened to me when I told her on Sunday what the problem was and if she'd called on Monday instead of yesterday......) Anyway, so she's at my house on my laptop because she can't…

today was an absolutely blah day - I didn't even get in 3,000 steps and have done nothing today except play piano, make dinner and an angel food cake, and take a long nap. I'm also over calorie goal by about 300 calories today, too, thanks to my brother coming over with his decidedly NOT diet friendly zucchini bread......…

My sister in law can drive me crazy sometimes, but you know, she's the most supportive in the family when it comes to weight loss. Even though I'm carrying a lot of water weight right now, she complimented me in the jeans and shirt I was wearing, which was nice

You've done fantastic and deserve to be very proud of yourself! I think we're already friends on MFP, but if not, shoot me a request :)

The Lord was good to me - after I got back from picking up the cat, it still hadn't started raining on my end of the county, though it had been raining hard when I left the other end, so I forced myself to dig out the push mower and try to get the pushing mowing done as well. Just as I was finishing up, it started…

I'm back home and have the camper and truck unpacked and am going to at least get the riding mowing done hopefully before it rains again. I am currently miserable. I'm still feeling tired and sluggish despite eating the extra food and what I really want to do is go to bed but I can't - too much to do and I still need to…

well, that was fun! I didn't get to hike until later this afternoon because I had a dentist appointment this morning and didn't get back into camp until around 2:30. I got started at 3:15 on my hike. About 2 miles in comes this pounding thunderstorm. I'm on the trail, there is nowhere to go, so I just laugh at myself and…

fantastic news, connie! that makes it a complete success for you!

@bobsburgersfan I have to eat all of the calories because I'm on a diet break and am trying to eat at maintenance or in a slight surplus to see if under eating has been the cause of my fatigue problems lately. I have to be completely out of deficit for at least a week for the diet break's full effects ti be realized. It…

@conniewilkins56 *laughs* I thought of that near bedtime lol. I did get a trail mix to cover 440 of those calories. It was hard making myself count all those because that was 100% of the activity-it was hard to believe I was really burning that many calories in activity even if it was strenuous. I have a dentist…

okay, so I know some people are going to wonder why I put this here: I hiked nearly 10 miles today, carrying an 8-10 lb backpack on a trail that was nearly 2 miles STRAIGHT uphill in high humidity. I didn't think I was every going to come out on top, and I wish someone would tell the idiots who designed that trail that…

@bobsburgersfan believe it! lol I'm now into a 16 regular at Cato's and am flirting with a size L. I bought 2 T-shirts off the sale rack the other day at XL and they were baggy, so I'm going to experiment with the L's. I also bought a dress and a T-shirt at Cracker Barrel both are L and both fit - I can't believe it at…

The general advice on the main forums is to ignore that "in 5 weeks" thing as it is inaccurate at best. Like Connie said, a trending app will be much more useful though it can be irritating when the moving average goes up on it too-the only weigh in I've had to input is Monday and I was up 8 lbs in water weight so it…

[quote="eliezalot;c-45233406" I feel the work stress pain. There was a time about a year and a half ago where I was having multiple panic attacks a week about work (yay anxiety). It was exhausting, even when I wasn't putting in extra hours. I had no confidence (in retrospect, thanks to my boss at the time), felt like I had…
