How do people not worry about things that are out of their control? I feel like I should worry a little extra for them. You know…just in case.

Not sure if it’s petty or from my deep self-esteem issues but when someone looks at me in public I would like my first thought NOT to be “I know I’m fat and weirdly shaped so please stop looking at me!”

I’m also trying for a way-of-life journey that consists of my whole self. Doing it by implementing small changes and using other markers for the success of my journey like waist size, number of headaches I get, my blood pressure, how I feel, etc. I’m often sarcastic and I swear a lot. It sounds like you are more afraid of Olympic lifting and/or crossfit as they are the ones more likely to have explosive movements. You do not under any circumstance need to do those kind of…

Hi. 46, feel 66 but my brain refuses to say anything other than 42 when people ask me how old I am. I just restarted things here after a 70 COVID weight gain. I swear a lot and call most people dude for some weird reason. Feel free to add me if you appreciate sarcasm, self-deprecating humor, and swear words.

I am also a little weird, an obsessive dog mom, crabby (although it’s almost all the time) and sarcastic. We should be friends!

My journey has been similar. I’m starting once again but I’m going to trying focus on things other than weight. Of course, weight loss is important as I have 100-ish pounds to lose but I’m trying to create a lifestyle not just drop weight quickly, feel deprived, and give up. My markers are more emotional than numbers…
