Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES, completed my 2nd run/walk of week 2 C25K program, plus some additional walking for a total of 2.25 miles. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, went to a park with the lofty goal of walking 3 miles and ended up doing 4.5 miles. It was an out-and-back trail, and I admit I was happy to finally get back to my car as I'm not used to walking so far yet. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes Did I keep track of…

Hi everyone, this is my 3rd or 4th (maybe 5th?) time using MFP 1st time with UAC. Basic stats: 61yo, 5'2", SW 184 lbs, CW 171 lbs. GW 130 lbs. When I had my physical a couple months ago my doctor asked if I'd like to join the Veterans Health Administration's Move! program. I signed up and was provided with a bluetooth…

Food and carbs were good today. Not feeling particularly motivated so only did a short 15 minute Zumba routine this evening.
-
@loveshoe, I keep telling myself I need to do the same - cut out the evening snack and get more sleep. Too much of a stretch for me at the moment. Good luck to you! Completed my 3 tasks today: logging, well under 100 carbs, and 3 "miles" of a walking DVD.
-
Got my foods logged, met my carb goal, and went to the park this evening for a 3 mile walk.
-
You guys are doing great! Lot's of good vibes here today! 1) log my food- done 2) carbs under 100 - close at 109 (um, I had a large 7-11 burrito left over from the dark side) 3) 15+ mins activity - did 35 mins of a jessica smith walking dvd

Well, I fell off the wagon at the beginning of June when I went on vacation to Disney World. Yeah, that one "planned" week has now stretched into four. :( So I've finally managed to get myself back here and hopefully on the right path again. Right now this feels like a stretch to me, so my goals for this month's challenge…

I got in 9 miles of (some)running/(mostly)walking this morning. It was hot, humid, and windy. And I did terrible. Blah! Think I'll go shopping. Maybe that'll cheer me up. I don't normally like clothes shopping, but I received my JCP online order yesterday and all the medium size shirts and shorts are too big, so I need to…
-
My plan to do a short run today turned into an unplanned rest day. Too hot and windy. I'm going to try for a long run tomorrow morning while it's a relatively cool mid to upper 70's out.

Today was a 2-hr fun exercise session playing xBox kinnect games remotely with my sister. We're so competitive with each other. She usually wins more often than I do, but tonight I pretty much whooped her butt. Yeehaw!
-
Ran/walked 8 miles this evening when it was starting to cool down into the lower 80's. Just a couple more training runs to go for my upcoming half marathon. Not that I'm counting down the days or anything. (yeah, right!)
-
Got in a couple hours of physical activity in the warehouse today. Usually I spend most of my time at my desk, so when I help restock it feels like a workout to me.
-
Oh my gosh, me too! My scale says I've steadily lost weight over the past month but I'm not seeing that reflected in my measurements compared to what I recorded 4 weeks ago. And yet I'm fitting better into my smaller clothes, so must be my poor measuring technique.
-
Sunday I went shopping for most of the day. Felt like exercise to me, so I'm counting it. Monday I ran 7 miles and then walked for 5 more. Tuesday will be a rest day for me.
-
Closed out the week with a 13 mile run/walk. See you all next week!!

Did quite a bit of moving boxes of merchandise at work today. So much for giving my arms a break.
-
That's awesome!
-
Decided to give my arms a break for probably the rest of the month due to impinged shoulders acting up. So instead I played a couple hours of xBox kinect games with my sister for today's exercise.

What? Are crop circles from planting stuff, or are we talking alien encounters?

There was thunder and lightening this morning when my alarm went off, so I rolled over and went back to sleep. I ended up going to a park in the early evening after work when it was in the upper 80's. Total distance was 8 miles. I

Hi and welcome, @trigirl12399. I'm a newbie myself. That's great about your sister's progress, and you guys will be able to support each other, along with all the kind folks on this forum.

Today's mini-workout: 1 chin up attempt, 1.5 regular pushups, 20 total knee pushups. I feel so lazy lately/tired lately. Going to try to get up early for a run/walk before work. We'll see how that goes.
-
I decided to take a rest day today. Will get back to it tomorrow. Cheers all!

It's part of a promo from when I applied for my card... 10% off Amazon purchases for 6 months.
-
I didn't read all the comments in the video and must have missed those concerns. @Steph_Maks was able to get her report, so seems like it works fine.
-
I think giving my arms a daily break has helped, or could just be a coincidence. Anyway, I did 4 sets of 5 knee pushups (one set more than before), and 2 full/regular pushups. I haven't been as consistent with my chin up efforts, so that didn't go so well today.
-
Congrats on the race. There's always another time for a personal best.

Thanks. She's not exactly a slow talker, but I really like what she's got to say, so I'll be checking out her other videos soon.
-
Oh, great, thanks for the tip. I'll definitely check that out. ETA: Ordered it. And saved an additional 10% with my Amex Amazon promo. Thanks again!!
