44 trying to stay warm in frigid New England right now! Been on MFP for almost a year now (off & on), dropped 24 pounds through logging meals & exercises. Most impactful has been the support & motivation of my MFP friends--priceless! I'm back in the game now & feel free to add me for support ✔️

To start some strength training.... I am great with cardio, but I need to build up more strength. It's tough for women with small frames, i envy those with sculpted arms & shoulders--you look beautiful & strong!!

It's tougher to lose/maintain in your 40s, so I am discovering. But, just lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks by the old tried & true method--diet & exercise! Oh yes, YOU TOO can…

I too am 43, & Im finding it's more difficult to lose the weight at this age... So just be patient with your body, create a diet that you can maintain & enjoy, & most definitely incorporate exercise as many days as possible. Just a 15 minute walk does wonders for your state of mind (esp if it's sunny!). Weight training is…

Greetings from a mid-40s gal! New to MFP. Have a Garmin Vivofit3, goal of 15 pounds to lose, mostly a walker, love wine & cheese (to a fault!), a mom to 4 teens, & work full time. Looking for "pals" to help with mutual motivation. Can't drop the weight quickly at this age like I did in my 20s & 30s... So frustrating. Best…
