@ReenieHJ Yes, a lifetime change (long-term) is key. I've had short-term successes which is what keeps the roller coaster going. Tracking and being held accountable in places like this are very helpful. Good luck to you, too! Thank you!

@ellie117 Yes, I have to get back in the habit of tracking everything; no matter how ugly it is. I tracked yesterday and I’m tracking today. I may have to do the daily weigh-in for a little (when I get my new scale). I used to try and weigh in weekly at the most.

@alteredsteve175 I used to weigh weekly, not daily. I don’t have a scale at the moment, bc it went out. I synced with an app on my phone. It tracked other things as well. I will get another one.

It’s crazy, bc when I lost a lot of weight at first, I met with a girl I knew who is into fitness and she asked if I started getting the comments yet. She basically told me to get ready for things like what you experienced and she was right. I would get little sly / shade comments here and there from those close to me.…

To be honest I didn’t have a set calorie back then, but my caloric intake dropped dramatically along with working out. I was eating about 800 ( not good) - 1200 on some days. I worked on increasing it as I worked out more. My body naturally wanted more fuel ( food).

Sweet Tooth here as well!!! I’m the one at the coffee shop ordering nonfat milk, Soy, and Nut milks w/ my lattes, but I want the REAL sugar syrups ( no fake sweetener). I love mixing the flavors. I ❤️ chocolate & many other sweet delights. Could use alternative help as well. I love fruit, too, so it shouldn’t be that hard…

WOW! We definitely have similar goals. Currently we weigh about the same. I’m just a couple of inches shorter than you.
