1. People who spend their time worrying about what I'm doing in the gym instead of focusing on their own *kitten*. 2. The people who obviously shouldn't be there...you know the ones. They don't even live at my house and I'm all like, "How the hell did you get into my garage? Do you even lift?"

I can't say that I blame them really. I generally regard both like so:

People go to the gym to workout, restaurants to eat, work to work, church to pray, stores to shop...none of those to be hit on and picked up. Best keep silent, my boy. Like all good relationships, you'll inevitably just wind up with someone by osmosis.

As such, they'll misconstrue whatever nebulous "study" they can find to support histrionic titles to keep people clicking.

If you really wanna impress the ladies bro, focus on the important things. Like how much you're curling. Nothing says "sexy Alpha male" like reps for Jesus on the only part of your body that matters. And be SURE to do them in the squat rack for max visibility!

The problem being that no real thought went in to this "article". You lack a basic understanding of biology and have no apparent concept of scientific ethics. You're making unsubstantiated claims based on your memory of what supposed relatives ate as children, and the straw man idea that there are children who eat candy…

I chalk it up to the irresistible urge to slow down when passing a train wreck or the like, because even though you don't want to see the gore, you absolutely do want to see the gore. *nods*

If it's gym specific, you can always look up progressive body weight programs you can do at home. I generally prefer weights, but my wife and I both enjoyed going through You Are Your Own Gym together. Definitely a book/app worth looking into.
