  • Because I've always been the DUFF and dont want to be that anymore
  • Thank you so much. I'll check it out, I really appreciate it
  • Ugh!! Me too! Hubby just bought me a five pack of Cadbury eggs knowing that I LOVE them.....he says they are for "celebratory purposes" when I lose...but what he doesn't realize is that every time I open the cabinet door, they wave at me and beg me to scarf them all down in one sitting! [/quote] The last thing he bought me…
  • My issue is sleeping, I average 2 or 3 hours per night. This is not helping with my weight loss at all. I've tried teas, over the counter stuff, exercising and nothing seems to help. Talked to the doctor once but wont prescribe anything. I have a desk job so I eat throughout the day to help stay awake. I just don't know…
  • I know how you feel. My boyfriend said he would eat better and start exercising with me, hasn't happened yet in the 4 months I've really been trying. What is even worse is when he is out shopping and buys me junk food that he knows I like. Know he is trying to be sweet but it's sabotaging me.
  • I'm so sorry for your loss. It always takes time to get through something like that but you will get back on track!
  • Don't know if this is a NSV but it has always been hard for me to take a compliment, I usually argue back but have been smiling and saying thank you lately.
  • I'm all for hearing tips you may have!
  • My legs are looking smaller, my boyfriend even mentioned it. While that's not a place I really needed to lose from, at least I know changes are happening (especially since I am on turtle speed at losing weight).
  • Starting weight ~240 Goal weight: 140-150 Current weight: 199.4 Short term goal: see my colar bone What's working: tracking what I eat What's not: meal planning for 6....struggling with trying to make meals that everyone will/can eat. Most of the time I just make what the majority will eat but after making a big meal for…
  • I over eat when I am extremely stressed or depressed/lonely. It has been a battle all my life and I want to find a way to stop the cycle. On a daily basis, I eat pretty healthy. When I get really stressed or depressed, I can sit and eat an entire pizza by myself and continue on to other foods never feeling full. I'll even…
  • Was just wondering if anyone struggles with emotional eating. On a normal basis I can stick with a calorie range and am satisfied with what I eat, not hungry or anything. When I get really down or stressed, I turn to food and become an endless pit. Where on a normal day, 2 slices of pizza would be filling but when I'm…
  • Hello all. My name is Tammy and after reading all your post, I can say I know how you all feel.....especially the roller coaster comment. I have been up and down with my weight most of my life. I am 38, turning 39 in a few weeks, and need to stop this cycle. I want to feel good about myself, have more energy and be healthy.
  • It's nice to know I'm not alone in this battle. Thanks for sharing
  • My hardest part about losing weight is living with my boyfriend and his kids. They are pretty much all sticks, eat what they want and don't gain weight. It's really hard to see them eat unhealthy foods all the time and try to stick to eating healthy.
