Completely agree the US Government has failed at regulating healthcare. Other countries governments have been far more successful.

It might be mild depression. I know people who are clinically depressed will not get endorphin kicks and actually feel worse after exercising instead of better. You could have been trying to avoid grieving by exercising...maybe time to grieve and address low mood would be beneficial. I'd still bike though now and then as…

Day 8, or week 2 day 1 completed. Did really well today but it might be because it's nice and hot today.

I haven't needed BC since I was 27. After we were done having kids, my husband got snipped. I did have bad reactions to the pill and really wanted to avoid anything hormonal. One BC pill caused mood swings. Another stopped my period altogether which isn't healthy in my view.

I like my salads with no dressing.

I used to take seroquel and I'd literally take it and brush my teeth...kept me from eating in the evenings.

Day 7 done and dusted! I can feel my arms are stronger and my balance is improving.

We did sweets once a week on Saturdays...they get to have a chocolate bar or jelly babies or whatever. Then we have dessert on Sundays and Wednesdays. Dessert can be eaten at any time during dinner...before, with or after mains. Snacks are always healthy. Other than that no sweets, cookies, etc. Except for birthdays because…

Day 6 completed. May not be able to master grasshopper during the challenge. Thinking back it took me three years to get the hang of crow. But that's ok. I'm glad I started trying it. I can do a scrunched up version..it's just getting that one leg straight where I lose my balance. I might have had it for a split second...…

Onion extract is used in a gel for scar revision and reduction so they are a useful plant. Insofar as eating onions, they don't really anti-age you at all but they are delicious. I like putting them in an omelet, spagettit sauce, in chicken wraps, etc. [Edited by MFP Staff]

Day 5 done. Crow and half moon ok. Grasshopper...not so much. Will keep trying though!

Day 4. Done bright and early today. Still struggling to straigten that leg on grasshopper but determined to get there. On plus side my crow was kicking today.

Most people are more flexible on one side vs the other. My right side is stronger and more flexible than my left. I asked a yoga teacher same question and she said to just keep practicing with both sides per normal. The two sides will progress independently and she said eventually they'll both be at advanced barring any…

Day 3 done. It was a bit touch and go as my hay fever was acting up...so I had tissues scattered around me. But did the poses.

BBQ doesn't have to be unhealthy. You can grill a veggie burger, or veggies. Chicken breast...etc. Is the issue that you're over eating? Just set aside food for meals later in the week. Doing a weekend BBQ is a great way to precook some meat for later in the week.

Society:Be yourself Me: OK Society: No, not like that I say the above to show that Society is full of conflicting messages. I don't think Society is all for or against fat/fat shaming etc..Society espouses both stances simultaneously. One on side you have the body positivity movement that is about self love at any size or…

I have asthma too. I'll do two puffs of my salbutamol/blue inhaler fifteen minutes before exercising. If your asthma is going through a bad patch, and it sounds like it is, ask your Dr for an asthma review. You may need to add a preventative type inhaler ( brown here) that you puff on every morning and night.

Calorie counting in and of itself doesn't affect my enjoyment of food. The fact I am in traction/enforced inactivity where I need to count calories hinders my enjoyment of food. I much prefer to eat intuitively. It served me well for forty years. So I'm missing that even though I know it's best for me right now to count…

Yes! Mosh pits....crowd surfing...nothing like sharing sweat with a few hundred strangers.

Not in classical art. Classical art is from the Ancient Greek and Romans and their mosaics, wall murals and statues showed very athletic bodies for men and softer but thin pear shaped women. I think you are thinking of the artist Ruben and "rubenesque" art which was a movement that lasted around fifty years in the early…

Do you do any stretching afterwards? Or take walks in between workouts? Do you do a warm up before the work out?

Can't do Day 2, suffering from sciatica really badly today. I can't get out of bed. I should be ok tomorrow. I hope that's ok for the challenge...to allow for off days?
-
Nope. Sorry disagree. We AS A SOCIETY thin shame people out of supposed concern for their health all the time...what do you think the don't faint/ you'll lose your hair and teeth was referring to? Just today I read a news article in the Sun that was all about them"alarming" weight loss of a celebrity and the comments were…

If it's actual depression you should see a doctor about it as you may need therapy and/or medication.

I have sciatica but it's due to a tailbone that's been broken a couple of times.

Day 1 done sort of. Succeeded at crow. Wobbly on half moon but did it. Couldn't quite hold grasshopper...every time I try and straighten the one leg, I keel over. But that's the object of the challenge isn't it? To learn a new pose.

No sorry

Well I was asked what carcinogens are in fast food and other stuff....but I reiterate...it is my opinion that fast food is toxic and should only be eaten if the last food on the planet. I guess I was right too about it being an unpopular opinion here on MFP so of course most of you are going to disagree. As I said before,…
