  • I totally agree with cbl40 "soda and lime". It is delicious and refreshing and cheapish and you can sometimes add vodka lol. My best wishes, cutting out anything is difficult and (new) habit forming is hard.

  • I had been smoking for 29 years when I got Champix through my doc and eventually quit. It has now been 7 years since I've smoked and I still love (I do mean love) the smell of cigarettes but I will never, ever smoke again. It was too hard won. I put on 20kgs due to a bad ankle and bad relationship - hating myself etc.…
  • I stick to my daily goal and any exercise is a bonus. I lost 15kgs doing the 5:2 diet but use MFP for the non fast days. I think once you get your goal weight you could eat back some of your exercise but we are all different and each day has its own (sigh) challenges. Good luck and stay strong to us all.
