  • I work at a gas station and I was moving around a lot. Prior to leaving for work I exercised for 30 mins. Normally when I workout I burn an average of 2300 calories for the day. I feel like 3000 is an accurate number.. 8 hours of non stop movement.. that's a lot of calories.
  • I do have stairs
  • My Fitbit tracks my calories and I burn between 1800-1900 a day.. and when I workout it can get up to 2200.. I don't always eat under my bmr when I workout, but when I don't I eat under that.
  • I just moved out here and I don't have a car. I'm not going to get on the bus to go to a high school track. It doesn't fit into my work schedule. I jogged in place today and burned just as many calories as I did when I was doing Insanity and I was going all out. Given my circumstances, this was perfect.
  • Insanity has a lot of jumping. Jogging in place is lighter on my feet. I did it today and my feet didn't hurt.
  • I burned 355 calories running in place for 30 mins.
  • That's how you create a deficit to lose weight... If I eat at my bmr, then it will maintain my weight. I don't want that.
  • Intermittent fasting is basically an eating schedule. Most people go with the 16-8 split. You fast for 16 hours and eat in the 8 hour time frame. My schedule is eat from 11am-7pm and fast from 7pm-11am. Depending on whether you go to bed, you will only be up for a couple hours of the fast, so that makes it easier.
  • Where I live the hills are extremely steep and after that there is no pavement. The sidewalks are jacked up and I can't jog with the stroller I have for my son. UGH!!!! I'm just trying to keep it simple and do something convenient for me. I had a circle path mapped out, but soon discovered on my first lap that there was a…
  • Those were all just questions. I haven't started the pre-workout nor am I fasted exercising anymore. I eat now before I workout and don't get the chills. I do still take the green tea pills. The last week of Insanity was very hard and I was ready to quit and eat everything, but I found a new workout plan that is much…
  • I understand that I won't be projecting myself forward in the house. I'm just trying to use running as my main cardio for now until I am ready to further the intensity with other cardio workouts. I don't have a treadmill and there's nowhere for me to run.
  • I just recently stopped doing Insanity after 3 weeks.. it hurt my feet to the MAX! From the day I started to the day I ended, nothing but pain. I guess I can't get past the out-of-breath-at-five-minutes phase lol
  • I figured I could start with just the running/walking and then increase the intensity with other cardio workouts on YouTube. I'm just tired of being out of breath 5 minutes into the workout. I had hoped running could help even though it's still kind of a rough cardio workout. It's easier for me than regular cardio workouts.
  • I don't drink coffee. And I've been working on my CICO
  • What protein bar do you eat? I've been trying to find one that isn't high in sugar and calories.
  • I normally have 2-3 bottles of water during my workout.
  • I absolutely hate when my ride makes me late or is late picking me up even though I let them know ahead of time when to be ready or when I need to be picked up. Ex. I let my mother know 15 mins ahead of time that my train would be at the station. It's cold outside and dark and she's not there... I can her and she hasn't…
  • Highest 239 Lowest 155 (that I can remember lol) Current 227
  • The calories remaining should be the calories you can eat to basically match up with the calories burned to maintain your weight. So you must've eaten 1241 calories. 1241+1359=2600 Yeah, 1359 is the difference.
  • Oh okay. Thank you
  • Android? Lol is that what you mean?
  • How do you guys post pics on here? Lol I don't see that option.
  • I watch Whitney Simmons. She has a lot of workout videos, mainly focusing on her butt lol but I still like watching her and she uses pre-workout. I don't drink coffee and I hate taking pills as I stated to another poster, so those caffeine supplements are out the door for me unless they are very very tiny. I should've…
  • I don't drink coffee and I hate taking pills. The multivitamins I take are gummies, so I was glad that the pre-workout was a powder I can put in a drink. I didn't think it would change my body, just maybe give me a boost.
  • That sounds like a good plan. That's basically how I've been planning my workouts.
  • I've never looked into non-whey protein. Haven't heard of it actually.
  • That's basically my goal.. I'm not training for anything. I guess when I get to that point that I'm down to the size I want, then my goals will get more detailed.
