Thanks gals. Really appreciate the encouragement.

Very encouraging.

Gym challenge has stalled. Weekend guests and the trip to LA got in the way. Will try and get in a final workout on Thursday so final number will be 20 or 21. All in all not bad; just a little short. Need to work on calorie tracking in April.

Thanks for the support. I am trying to be patient about lack of weight loss as this month’s challenge is all about fitness. Next month I think I will start a tracking challenge to get weight loss moving again. Swim was short today but spent 2 hours putting together some very heavy Adirondack chairs from Costco. Thank god I…

Gym visit #17 completed this morning with 30 minutes of strength training. I just might make it. I am getting stronger as I am now lifting heavier weights. Beautiful day outside. Definitely don’t feel like working in office. Tulips are starting to bloom.

Welcome to Spring my fellow group members. I have been seeing a lot of great posts and appreciate all the information I am getting from you. Not only do I have exercise equipment consultants I have fellow cheese lovers and some gardeners. Weather is looking good today but too many social activities to take advantage of it.…

Yes, thank you for educating us on zone minutes.

Stupid question here, what is reiki?

Just wanted to thank you beccaboo for setting up this group. I am enjoying seeing all the different challenges and getting to know my fellow group members. This group is what I was looking for.

Great post. Had this wonderful visual of you getting more space and a feeling of accomplishment. Spring was definitely in the air in Atlanta yesterday. Everyone in a good mood. Plants and trees starting to leaf out. Tulips coming up. Things I thought were dead in the garden showing signs of life. Couldn’t help but smile…

How goes it? Is there a chair Pilates video, class or something you have worked out on your own?
-
I am here with you sista’. Thanks for the elliptical update. I want to do some hiking in June so the idea of changing the incline is appealing. Will look at some videos and see if I can incorporate ell Into my rotation. Was thinking about stairmaster but I think the knees would revolt. Congrats on weight loss.

Every year I make Shrimp and Grits for my annual Easter Brunch. I think if I didn’t make it I would have a small riot on my hands. Smoked Gouda might be an interesting recipe change. Thanks for mentioning it.

So happy to meet fellow cheese-a-holics😊. Going to Italy in June and will spend time in Piedmonte region, known for wine and cheese. Also want to hike Cinque Terre so need to get some weight off my knees. Might have to make a cheese abstaining challenge next for a couple of weeks (could never make a full month). Possibly…

Welcome to our group. I like your challenge. I am also curious about zone minutes. I use a Polar heart rate monitor and it breaks things down into multiple zones. Good luck with your challenge and if you have a minute can you educate us on zone minutes? Susan

Chair palates sound like fun. Like your challenge of 3 visits per week. Good luck.

Great welcome post. I need to learn more about elliptical training. The stationary bike really pushes me but man does my butt hurt when I get off that seat. Ouch!

Thank you for all the encouragement. Just finished a 1.5 mile swim and yesterday was strength training. Up to 11 gym visits this month. Going to be a squeaker meeting my 23 visit challenge. I have a 3 day business trip later in the month and that might mess things up. Need to plan accordingly. Weight loss has stalled but…

Scale is unstuck and going up!!! Ok, here’s some self-talk. It’s a journey Susan, not a sprint. Breathe. What can you change today and what tripped you up? SUGAR. OK, today’s plan is to avoid sugar, drink more water and stay busy which includes a gym visit. Out of first 10 days in March have had 8 gym visits. So get off…

You guys are inspiring me. I am happiest when I am engaged in a project. Was hoping to do some planting this weekend but weather is going to turn cold and rainy. I think the garage is beckoning instead. Also my car needs some TLC as I have been hauling some plants.
-
Welcome Maggie. Can’t wait to learn more about you and what challenges you want to take on.
-
Hello Wyn, glad you are joining us. I am also working on a non scale challenge. Gym visits are going well but weight loss is stagnant. Look forward to reading about your challenge.
-
LOL back at you.
-
Jealous, completely jealous!!!! I seem hopelessly stuck at 175/176. Maybe my scale is stuck? NOT! Just need to keep on keepin on.
-
Should we consider the magazine a small victory?😊 I say yes and congratulations.
-
What an amazing time we live in. An online therapist that you can text! Sounds like it’s working great. Happy for you.

Don’t know where you guys are but we’ve had a great week of weather here in Atlanta. Going to spend a good portion of the day playing with indoor and outdoor plants. First there will be a gym visit and some shopping for cookout this evening with friends. No weight loss this week but enjoying the overall weight loss of the…

Yes, some downward movement would be greatly appreciated but I just might need to celebrate a non scale victory (NSV) like the fact that people are noticing the weight loss or that I am down another size on my pants. Off to the gym. Adding some resistance training today, aka free weights.

I like the ‘getting control builds confidence’ statement. Feels very empowering.

Sorry to hear and hope you are feeling better. Appreciate the honesty and owning it. So much better when we own it and move on. I have spent too much time beating myself up over mistakes that I have made. Perfectionism is over rated.
