  • @changeforeverlj thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate it. I HAVE to get more movement in as that is definitely one area that I'm still lacking. My scale didn't speak nicely to me this morning - no gains thankfully, but also no loss. I'm not surprised as we've been having too much takeout as I shared yesterday. I'm…
  • Welcome @chasity_08! I will confess that I hate exercising. It's one of the hardest parts of my weight loss journey. What I've recently started doing to make sure I get in 30 minutes of movement every day is that as soon as my husband goes in to take his shower, I pull up a youtube video of some sort - 30 minutes. I figure…
  • Good morning all! My day started off a bit rough, left the house late and didn't have time to grab anything for breakfast so I'm hoping to make it till lunch without gnawing my arm off. I've had a decent week so I'm hopeful about my Friday morning weigh-in. We'll see how it goes. 🤞 My biggest problem this week has been…
  • I'm coming in so late on this Monday! I first have to give an update on my scale. I'm glad I made everyone laugh....the scale is still behind the dresser. I had such a busy weekend and just never did get it out but it's on my list for this evening. Someone said they hear Benny Hill music in their head when things like that…
  • @CupcakeCrusoe your addendum to your goals made me LOL this morning! As for me, I had a weigh in fail this morning as my scale is kept on my (very crowded) dresser and when I went to grab it this morning, it fell behind the dresser. :D So, I'll pull it out this evening and weigh in tomorrow. Good grief. Goals for the…
  • @cesse47 I read in the evenings and often long for some kind of snack. I reserve some calories to fit in a crunchy snack - nuts, popcorn, carrots, or something similar. I've also heard that when you're yearning for a snack, it helps to drink a full glass of water.
  • I've had a rough week - haven't had any time to work out. Work has been so hectic but I've been walking laps around my office several times a day just to get moving even if only a little bit. Tomorrow is my weigh in day so we'll see how it goes. 🤞
  • New to the group but here goes: Kristen 44 years old SW: 290 CW (6/2): 290 GW for June: 285 UGW: 170 I'm trying to keep my goals realistic so I'm only shooting to lose 5 pounds this month and will be happy if I lose more. June Goals: *MOVE more! I'm trying to fit in at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. *Dust off my…
  • Hi everyone, I'm just restarting. Left MFP and did WW for almost a year but a job change and more recently, quarantine has greatly derailed my progress. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things and continue with my healthy goals. For me, the biggest issues are that I'm a picky eater (really picky), I love to snack,…
