Any cast iron skillet that is seasoned properly is generally stickless and improves with age. Rusty used ones you might find at a thrift stores can be reconditioned as long as they are not badly pitted.

Dave you and I are about identical goal wise. I started at 240 in March this year. Now down to 190. Exercise was walking 2 1/2 miles 6 days a week and holding cals between 1600 and 1700. So does kangaroo taste like chicken? Anything out of the ordinary here in the States we say tastes like chicken ie dog,cat, rattlesnake, ect.

Heck I just take a 90 cal 6 oz Yoplait yogurt cup put it in the freezer and eat it. it is a bit icy but satisfies my ice cream craving.

I know portion control but to have a 4 inch piece vs a two inch piece and meet calories just feels like fun to challenge.

I dunno but I think I'm getting closer on 100 cal slice of bananna bread. I like tearing down a recipe and getting it lower cal. Haven't hit zero yet. lol

Also I'd try sunbutter in place of peanut butter about half the calories.

On that sweet potato recipe I'd pull the maple syrup and go with xylitol. Lower cal than maple syrup and natural sweetner.

Walking you probably burned somewhere between 250 to 300 calories for that 3 miles.

That is probably what happened. Next time walk and then check it after walking before you change exercise. Use that little calculator that I posted to see if your anywhere close.

1 mile approx=100 calories depending on weight= approx 2000 steps + or - depending on stride lenght. To get average stride lenght take your height and multiply by .414 that will give you a ball park figure to adjust from

Carob chips might be lower in cal and I think 1/4 cup of chips would do instead of 1/2 or 2/3.
