Been on this journey since 2011, but nearing the home stretch now. Started CrossFit ten months ago and Macro diet not long after that. Right now I am participating in Wodapalooza Transformation challenge to give myself some added incentive to keep going. Feel free to add.

You will have a ton more laundry. Even your shoes and under clothing will be too big People want to know how you did it, but don't want to do what it took themselves. You learn to change into gym clothes in the oddest places Some people will tell you to quit losing weight Anything below 70 is now cold, hahaha

I was his boss at a customer service company. We met in May and married in Sept of 2002. He had to move to another department when we married. Neither of us are still with the same company now. But we are still married and happy.

First of all I am not going to say anything about age difference. My mom's first husband was 12 years older (he died at 42) and my dad was 16 years older. My husband is 11 years older than me and I have dated as many as 18 years older. Age has nothing to do with feelings. Personally I never felt the need or desire to sew…

I can eat anything, just not everything. I haven't cut anything out. I strive for better choices, but have not eliminated any type of food.

Great job, it does feel great and a lot of times when we reach our 40's and older we think we cannot change anything. We can.

I had a lap band in 2010. My body rejected the port twice. In 13 months I had four surgeries. The last of which was converting the lap band to gastric bypass September of 201. HW265; Lowest weight 158 (2014) current 169. However I am smaller now that I was at 158. I went back up to 200 for a while. I started crossfit and…

Yes 90% of losing weight is what you eat. You cannot out exercise a bad diet.

Yup. My coaches count calories and macros in order to stay at healthy weights and functionality and they are buff. If they need to, then someone who has a tendency to gain weight should also be mindful of how much and what they are eating.

Yes. More if I go work out, do physical labor or go swimming after I have already showered. Heck if I have big plans and getting dressed up, I usually do then too. I do wash my hair daily. Once in a blue moon I can get away with dry shampoo.

Work on your grip. Do pinch plates and bar hangs. Mixed grip is good too. My coach is teaching us to do lifts without gloves, chalk, anything like that during our class workouts. Most folks still use their preference for competitions and such, however, they still recognize the need to improve grip strength over using other…

I follow a Macro diet. If I want something I make it fit into my calories/macros. I do not do cheat meals or days. Mostly because I do not feel like this is a diet. Of course I cannot go crazy and eat everything, but I can eat 'anything'.
