Get a dog and walk. Nothing better than long walks with a dog to clear and calm. Get a rescue dog who already knows the ropes...a puppy will just cause you more stress and there are plenty of beautiful dogs who need rescuing and showing some love. You can help each other :)

A dog is a great idea. I got my doggie after finishing treatment for breast cancer. I put on 4 stone during chemo and my joints and my back were so achy all the time. 1800 calories for someone who is 50lb over weight and exclusively breastfeeding is not a great idea. Neither is cutting carbs. Eat at maintenance and walk. Enjoy your baby. On a Monday I tend to plan my week and within it, i make sure that I have one day where I eat out with a friend or have friends over for a few wines or me and the kids will go bowling and then out to eat. If you want to lose weight, it's not necessary. Unless there's a medical reason, you don't need to cut a whole food group from your diet. I did try it recently ( I put on 4 stone during cancer treatment and was inpatient to get rid of it)... it made me very tired but unable to sleep and my breath smelled. ... really bad.…
