Thanks for the advice and the literature referals. Half of my issue is that I'm just ignorant about nutrition in general which is why I'm not just interested in a diet, but learning more so I can understand my food choices. appreciate it folks.

clingy is fun for like a week. then....not so much. I'd say be clear and affirmative. and in this day and age, I'd do it electronically so there's a record. I know most of the replies are sarcastic, but i've seen clingy turn into crazy so you need to set boundaries early on.

I'm on the road to drop 20 lbs. I workout 5-6 days a week but didn't really see any movement on the scale until I started counting calories. I'm 42 and I guess my metabolism doesn't work like it used to. Intense workout is not enough for me anymore.
