I'm 2 weeks into thr 16:8 model. I've done this before and did see results. My previous experience is not making this current go 'round any easier. But I'm adopting the Jocko Willink play book of extreme ownership and pushing forward at all cost. I break my fast at 12noon and I always reward myself with a meal tjat I…

Thanks for the advice. Meal prepping has been a challenge for, but it is definitely beneficial when I'm able to stick with it.

Lucky you...it's the dead of winter here.

as already stated in previous posts, it kinda depends on your setup. I have a road bike and a smart trainer so peleton really doesn't for me. Plus I'm more cyclist than I spinner and Zwift caters to cyclist while Peleton caters to spin (i think...i've never actually used it). Peletons are very $$$ but so is any piece of…

I'm in the same boat. My motivation has been low and working from home hasn't helped (though grateful to he working!).
-
Consistency is definitely the challenge. Keep your goals attainable and maybe start small to build confidence.

I want to act like an old school roadie and say bah humbug to the peleton bike, give me the open road any day. BUT!!! I want one.

I've actually found it more entertaining without Froome. Don't get me wrong, Froome is a beast but with him and his team at form that race becomes predictable. It's wide open now and still anyone's race. Much more entertaining for me.

I feel your pain. That snacking struggle is real. Feel free to add me.

I have a note 9 also and I use a galaxy watch. Works fine for my needs and it's meant to synch with my phone. However, I do think Garmin makes the best overall fitness watch. But if u want a device that's smart watch first and fitness tracker second I'd say go with the galaxy watch.

I've boxed for years. Never kickboxing though...looks fun. Maybe I'll give that a try.
-
Glad I read this thread before trying to get my steps to synch here. Sounds like a no go from all the posts.

I could have written that post. I'm honestly at the point now where I am looking for a nutritionist. I can't do it my self.

Feel free to add me. Im trying to stay on track.🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♂️

Surround yourself with like-minded people who are at and above your level.

I think Garmin makes the best strictly fitness watch by far... especially for running or cycling.

Chin up kiddo. If it was easy everyone would be fit. The fact that you've fallen short of a goal and have decided to get back up speaks loads of your character. Nose to the grindstone!

I have done insanity, t25, and P90X. I had some good results with each and Beach Body overall has pretty good meal plans. I was considering another round of t25.

I have the same challenge. Trying to focus more on lifestyle changes than momentary diets. Self-control and discipline are key... easier said than done but there is no way around it. Try going to the party with a plan...maybe allow yourself only one slice of cake (ex.), Or eat before you go...or bring your own snacks.
-
My greatest obstacle is consistency. I start; I stop. Trying now to focus on sustainable lifestyle changes instead of just diets and workouts. If you have some self control to spare, I'd appreciate it. 🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♂️

1 workout, 1 pound at a time. You'll get there.

Tough few weeks ahead!

I'm trying to drop 20 by April! Good luck. Your goal day is right around the corner.

Good job!

Welcome!

Vegan is pretty hard core but sounds like you've found what works for you. That's awesome!

My main watch is a Galaxy watch, but I just bought a Fossil gen4. I wasn't going to use it to workout with much because the battery life isn't stellar, but after reading this maybe I will.

Good luck with your journey. Feel free to add me. 💪🏾💪🏾

I'm super active on Fitbit if you have one.
